Eliot Mover's '45 Alumni Fund Drive is in full swing, and I'm sure you've already noticed that the basic appeal this year is for more participation. In fact, that's what the competition is based upon. This class has always done well, participation-wise, and there's no reason why we can't improve our position and win ourselves a championship. That is, there's no reason if you all pitch in and help.
I shall devote what there is of this column to nailing down some of our more itinerant classmates and giving them home addresses and business associations. For instance, Herb Boedtker is a regional engineer with Westinghouse and can be found care of Westinghouse Venezolana, C.A., Apt. 1889, Caracas, Venezuela. John Donald McNamara is a lawyer associated with Nottingham & McEnity, 50 Rockefeller Plaza and with residence at 205 East 66th St., both of New York. Bill Butler, now a Lt. Comdr. assigned to the USS Ross (DD-563), Fleet Post Office, New York, N.Y. On Feb. 28, Ted Bush and Miss Margery Peck were joined in holy matrimony in Farmington, Conn. Thereupon they left on the Queen Elizabeth for a honeymoon ski trip in Austria and Switzerland. (I was working on a pun here about Ted being no "Sailer," but forget it.) Margery is a member of the Cotillion Club and Junior League of Hartford while Ted is with the Aetna Life Insurance Company. Larry Bellows has recently been appointed Assistant Marketing Manager of Chesebrough-Pond's, 485 Lexington Ave., N.Y. He resides at 100 Mt. Hebron Road, Upper Montclair, N.J.
I was down Dr. Frank Bousquet's way several months ago but not having a class directory (we're working on it) with me and not having one of those photographic mem- ories, I didn't know that he lives at 701 Abercorn St., Savannah, Ga. Next time I'll know better. Know Charley Prince, Frank? Ed Lilienfield is District Manager for General Cigar Co., Inc., in Kingston, Pa., and lives at 669 Charles Ave. Wandering John McCauley III has taken himself out to Michigan and to Father Divine's town of Royal Oak (no connection, I trust) where he can be found, evenings only and then only some, at the Beverley Hills Apts. #1, 4420 Springer Road. I'll be in Grosse Pointe this June so I'll check on the activities of this eligible gentleman and report to you next fall.
Those returning to Hanover this winter for skiing or what not number George Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Coleman and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Williams. Lucky people.
My apologies for the brevity of this month's effort. I shall return from the Executive Committee meeting in New York, April 12, brimming with news and information which will be passed your way come June. In the meantime, don't forget that '45 is after a Green Derby this year and that participation will do it. The amount is immaterial, the act immeasurable. Act today.
