This past August, Brad Leonard married Miss Berit Joner of Hamar, Norway. They are now residing at 121 Kaiserstrasse, bei Huefner, in Offenbach/Main, West Germany. (Telephone Offenbach 83590 but don't call collect.)

Gerry Mc Nabb is still working as an instructor in English and Speech at the McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tenn. Far from being idle, he has managed to increase his family by one more; six pounds, ten ounces, Susan Carole was born August 7, giving him and his wife, Barbara, their second child.

Ben Taylor has accepted a position with Armstrong Cork Co., and has entered the firm's Building Products Division Sales Training Program.

Leo McKenna surprised seasoned instructors at the Beverly Airways a while ago when he learned to fly in four and a half hours. The best record before Leo took to the air seems to have been eight hours. Leo better watch out or his navigation talents might land him a moon trip!

Russ Mead has joined the English Department at the Woodstock County School in Vermont. He was formerly associated with Peacham Academy, where he was assistant headmaster.

Ken Thomas received his medical degree from Stanford University School of Medicine in San Francisco. He began serving his internship July i at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.

Don Lehrer and Kathryn Reinthal announced their engagement this past summer. Don is with Regent Sheffield Ltd., cutlery manufacturers.

Duane Johnstone married Miss Signy Svindland this past August 14. At present the groom is stationed at Moffett Field, Palo Alto, Calif.

A spring wedding is planned for Chuck Bockus and Barbara Siegel. Chuck was in the Army in Turkey as an English instructor to Greek and Turkish Army and Air Force officers. He is with Manufacturers Trust Co., New York, and is doing graduate work at the New York University Business School.

After three years' service in the U.S. Army, Gordon Colby began studies at the University of Virginia Law School. Recently Gordon married Miss Penelope Betts of Guilford, Conn.

ous jet crash this past summer. He was rescued from a burning A-4D Sky Hawk jet plane after it made an emergency landing at Oceana, Va., Naval Air Station. The plane caught fire after overrunning a runway and ramming a piece of construction equipment. Tom entered the Navy in the fall of 1956 and was assigned to a jet squadron in the Atlantic Fleet. Glad to hear Tom is up and at 'em once more.

Let's skip around and pick up a few short items on several of the '56 gang.

Marv Bender is associated with Adisadel College, Cape Coast, Ghona, West Africa. Rog Compton is co-owner and office manager of Compton Transfer and Storage Co., Boise, Idaho.

Herb Dahl keeps himself active in the public accounting field in Sacramento, Calif.

Bruce Greenwood has the title of instructor of English Literature at the Latin School of Chicago. Pete Harpending is clerk in the law office of Teeter, Harpending, Fox and Swartwood, Elmira, N. Y. Pete is preparing to take the bar exam.

Dudley Heath is teaching at Dundalk Senior High School, Baltimore, Md. MottHupfel works for Lumber Industries, Wilmington, Del. Larry Jacobson has chosen sales work with Lever Brothers Co., in Hartford, Conn.

Henry Pratt is now a candidate for Ph.D. degree in political science, Columbia University.

Rev. Dick Rubuttom was ordained as minister of the United Presbyterian Church, Coalport, Irvona, Penna.

John Sears is a management trainee with Bell Telephone Company, of Penna.

Art Kunst is an instructor with the English Department, University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, N. D. Bruce Meyers is editor of the "Alka-Lines," Diamond Alkali Company, Painesville, Ohio. Dave Mills, M.D., is an interne, Evanston Hospital, Evanston, Iĺ.

Joe Dunston is entering his senior year at the College of Medicine of Howard University. John Fowler is a Life underwriter, New York Life. Benson Green keeps active as an independent TV producer. And last, Bill Tell is an associate lawyer with the firm of McAfee, Harming, Newcomer and Hazlett, Cleveland, Ohio.

Let's hope that the Big Green pigskin will be soaring much higher by the time you read this chatter sheet.

Bud Wheeler '57 (r) and Nate Palmer '58 onthe South Korean island of Paengnyong lastmonth when Bud made a trip to the radarsite there and found Nate serving in the support squadron. Both are USAF lieutenants.
