They didn't have to cart out the black balls (black golf balls, that is) after all. It was a beautiful day on Friday, October 27 when the Philadelphia Club held its Annual Golf Outing. Bob Rader '44 edged out eleven others to cop the cup with a gross of 77 and a net of 71. Bill Deal '39 was the host at Overbrook Golf Club.

Mark down Thursday, December 28, on your calendar right now. It's our annual Dutch Treat luncheon for undergraduates and their dads. This year we have a speaker of more than usual interest. Jose LopezSilvero '42, a lawyer, fled Cuba, leaving all behind, to escape the Castro regime. Moreover, he was at the University of Havana earning his law degree at the same time Fidel was.

If you don't receive the December edition of Dick Lippman's Club Newsletter and wish to attend, which we hope you will, pick up the telephone and give the Club Secretary a call at KI 5-0456 (during business hours). If he's not there, don't be afraid to talk to his secretary. She's a very able gal, without whom the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia would probably collapse.

While you've got that calendar out, mark down Wednesday, February 14, 1962 and Wednesday, March 28, 1962 as well. On the first of those dates, well be having our Club Annual Dinner (stag this year) with Dean Thad Seymour as speaker. On the second, you can bring your favorite gal; that's the Glee Club Concert.
