Sam Piedrahita continues his residence in Bogota, Colombia, South America where he is vice president, Federacion Nacional de Algodoneros (Cotton). We have no information concerning Sam's family situation.

Al Colton has recently become a student at the Episcopal Seminary in Berkeley, Calif. He was previously a partner in a Salt Lake City, Utah, law firm but decided to give up the practice of law in favor of further school- ing and ordination as a priest. 25% of Al's class is over forty years old, 50% over thirty. Al has a Rockefeller Brothers grant to help with the first year of study. He says that wife Liz, eight-year-old Liza, and four-year-old Tom have made the transition nicely.

George Bean has been elected assistant vice-president of the National Bank of Commerce of Norfolk, Va. George, in charge of the bank's accounting division, joined the bank in 1954. He was elected assistant auditor in 1957 and assistant cashier the following year. His Dartmouth degree is in economics.

Dave Squire, president of Ansonia Mills Inc., in Taunton, Mass., has announced he has acquired all of the stock of the textiles firm. He has been in partnership since 1955, the same year he took over as president. The company now employs more than 500 people. He joined Ansonia in 1950 as assistant treasurer and later became vice president in charge of sales. Previous to this, he was in sales with Twentieth-Century Fox Inc.

Bob Snedaker, hard-working 1947 Head Class Agent, has been promoted to assistant vice-president for personnel for Long Island, the New York Telephone Company. Previously, he was Nassau Area division manager. Bob started with this company in 1949 in their training program. Announced in December was the engagement of Miss Josephine Vernon Waterhouse to Bob March.

Bob Cronson is Assistant Secretary of State for Illinois. He has been employed in the Secretary of State's office since 1953, and has served as an examiner in the securities department, chief examiner, securities commissioner, and supervisor of corporation and securities. He is active in Illinois law and securities associations.

Friends of John Rist of 312 Main Street, Athol, Mass., might provide information concerning his career in the Navy. We have no information since 1947. Leo Cohen continues as a real estate developer in the Washington, D. C., and Maryland area. Most recently he was President of the Knollwood Development Corporation. Jerry Reed was previously associated as an Office Manager with Griffith and Griffith Attorneys in Denver, Colo. He later attended the University of Denver then taught in the Denver public school system. Dr. Merritt Cornwell continues as the Director of the Lakeworth Health Center in Florida.

We wonder if Ensign Harold A. Redner of Utica, N. Y., is continuing his naval career. Ken Coyne continues his teaching career at the Emerson Junior High School in Los Angeles, Calif. Norm Platin is also teaching and coaching at the Wellesley, Mass., High School. We need information too on Ed Dawson of Philadelphia. Dr. Ed Peters is an Associate Research Director with E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Co., Buffalo, N. Y. HowieDoolittle continues his career with General Electric as Zone Manager of the Hotpoint Division in Chatham, N. J. Beep O'Shea is presumed to continue as Sales Representative with William Carter Company. GeorgeDwenger was an investigator with the Pinkerton Detective Agency in Newark, N. J. George has attended the Rutgers Law School. Ev Nordstrom is the Technical Placement Director for Bendix Aviation in Teterboro, N. J. The Nordstroms have three daughters and two sons. Joe Eisaman is a partner in the advertising firm of Eisaman and Jones in Los Angeles, Calif. Bob Morison is enjoying the Arizona climate with the Inspiration Consolidated Copper Company as Assistant Treasurer. Bill Enright received a law degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles and became Deputy District Attorney for San Diego County. Dinty Moore continues his association with the J. W. Moore Machine Company in Everett, Mass. No new information on Dave Fike of Madison, Wis.; who can help? Roly Miller is Planning Engineer with Pan American Airways, Inc., living in Florida. Russ Foster is associated with the New Hampshire Drum and Barrel Company in Manchester. Len Kojm continues his naval career as Lt. Commander and Executive Officer of the U.S.S. Threadfin.

Bob Frank is in the Legal Department of the C.I.T. Financial Corporation in New York City. Bill Knight continues with the Boston Fire Insurance Company in the New England area. J. V. Kelly continues his geological career with the Union Oil and Gas Corporation of Louisiana. The Kellys are enjoying U. S. living after a number of years in South America. Ed Grady is Operation Manager with Graybar Electric Company in Syracuse, N. Y. Dr. Dick Ives was associated with the Training Programs of the Provident Mutual Life Insurance Company in 1952. Chuck Howard continues as President of Trulite Corporation and of the Thomas O'Neill Machine Company in Huntington, W. Va.

Dick Madison was recently named Vice President in Charge of Merchandising for Loblaw, Inc. Dick, who has been Assistant Merchandise Manager, also was elected a Director. Loblaw is the 13th largest retail food chain in the nation and is growing rapidly. The Company expects to open eighteen additional stores during the present fiscal year.
