The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology in Washington has confirmed a diagnosis of myocarditis as the cause of the death of Neil Beard who died October 20. Myocarditis is a virus infection of the heart muscles. Cases are rare.

Howie Bauman is a consultant with Safeway Stores in Los Angeles, Calif. Previously he was store manager with Unimart in Chula Vista, Calif. John Bill is a research chemist with Polythane Corp. in Rumford, R. I. For the past ten years he has held the same position with Naugatuck Chemical Co. in Connecticut. Al Hill continues with Minn. Mining and Mfg. Co. in the Boston area.

Top management of Lezius-Hiles Co., one of Cleveland's oldest commercial printing firms, has tapped the third generation of the Lezius family, naming George R. (Dick) Lezius as company - He succeeds his father who becomes chairman of the board. Promotion has also come to Harold Moulton, who has become associate actuary of Aetna Life Insurance Company. Harold has a Master's degree from Columbia University and went with the company fourteen years ago in the life actuarial department. He was appointed assistant actuary in 1957. A fellow of the Society of Actuaries, he is chairman of the Society's high school mathematics awards committee and serves on the education and examination committees.

Pat McLoughlin was recently elected President of the East Orange Shade Tree Commission for the year 1962. Pat is Department Chief, Labor Relations, with Western Electric Company. He has been active in East Orange politics and in Red Cross work for a number of years.

Bob Huffman has been selected as one of 150 participants in the 41st session of the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School. Bob is Materials Manager, The Huffman Manufacturing Company, Dayton, Ohio.

Dr. Russ Fraser, Associate Professor of English and a member of the Princeton University faculty since 1956, has been appointed Associate Dean of the Graduate School, effective July 1. He will combine his administrative duties with part-time teaching and scholarly work. His field of special interest is the Renaissance, in particular, Shakespearean drama.

The new Class Agent for 1947 is TownesM. Harris Jr. The '62 Fund begins thismonth with a record goal of $1,250,000.
