Your class of 1947 Executive Committee was planning to meet at the Dartmouth Club, Hotel Commodore, New York City, on Thursday February 15. We'll have a full report in next month's notes. On the agenda are such subjects as our 15th reunion, 1962 Alumni Fund drive organization and status, and the drive for 1962 class dues; A meeting of the Nominating Committee is planned by Chairman Tom Leggat to immediately precede the Executive Committee meeting.

Don Armistead has recently moved from Glen Rock, N. J., to Seattle, Wash., where he is an engineer with the Boeing Airplane Co. Don is a civil engineer and has been in the New York City area since graduation, first with Fraser-Brace Co. for several years, and later with Anaconda Copper as a structural engineer.

Bob Gallagher is senior investment analyst with Investors Diversified Services, Inc. in Minneapolis, Minn. He was most recently associated with the investment department of Allstate Insurance Co. in Illinois.

Lt. Comdr. Bob Schroeder is aboard the "USS Searcher," FPO New York City. Don Knapp is back from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon, and is now at the Teachers College, Columbia University.

Austin Lohse has been elected a vice president of the American Express Company, Inc., wholly-owned subsidiary of American Express Company. He joined American Express in 1952 as a financial analyst and since 1959 had been an assistant vice president in the overseas banking department. Prior to joining American Express, he was a credit analyst with Irving Trust Co.

Lem Moulton was recently appointed associate actuary by the Aetna Life Insurance Company, Hartford, Conn. He joined Aetna fourteen years ago in the life actuarial department. He was appointed assistant actuary in 1957.

Head Class Agent Townes Harris was appointed trust officer by the Rhode Island Hospital Trust Co. in December. Townes and his family are long-time Providence residents. He has been associated with this bank for fourteen years, first in the tax department, later as assistant trust officer.
