Gus Ayers has probably done more air traveling than all the rest of the class added together. As you may recall last fall he flew 30,000 miles around the world and in March of this year he flew from San Francisco to the South Island of New Zealand and back, a trip of over 16,000 miles. From the pic tures which he sent me, New Zealand must be a scenic and rugged country.

When you receive this issue of the ALUMNI MAGAZINE our 55th Reunion will be a thing of the past. However the Alumni Fund will still have a short time to run. If your check has not been sent in please do not put it off a minute longer. Your help must be received before June 30 if we are going to fulfill our duty to the College.

In corresponding with the class widows about our 55th Reunion I was surprised at the record of children and grandchildren our departed classmates have. Not all of the group listed their progeny but the following did.

Isabelle and George Alley - One married daughter - three grandsons; Jeanette and Noble Bowlby - four children - seven grandchildren - six great grandchildren; Madalyneand Maynor Brock - four children - nine grandchildren; Edith and "Bug" Gardiner - three children - five grandchildren - seven great grandchildren; Katherine and HenryLadd - three children - ten grandchildren; Jane and Dan Ransom — five children — two grandchildren; Suzanne and Bill Wood four children - seven grandchildren - one great grandchild; Robie Evans is now living at 7 Eastwood Dr., Medford, Ore.

The following classmates will celebrate their natal day in June. Bodwell, Dennison,Hal Edgerton, Charles French, Nat Leverone and John Slack.
