I would make this a lengthy epistle but for the fact that I'm presently en route to Ft. Knox, Ky., to begin a three-year term with the Army Judge Advocate General Corps - and it's so tough to write while one's driving. I would also justify the brevity of this month's sheet by noting that Chairman Puffy recently mailed out a long, informative newsletter and greeting. Thus you've probably already had more of this class malarkey than you can stand in one month.

Weddings recently include that of PhilBerke and Linda Brafman of North Adams, Mass. After their honeymoon, Phil and Linda will live in Granville, N. Y., where Phil's associated with his father in law practice. Married in New York last November were John Quinton and Mary Tatem. John graduated from Babson Institute after leaving Dartmouth.

In the betrothal category we see that Bruce Blackwell has become another of the Fallen. He's engaged to Birgitta Brink of Astorp, Sweden. Bruce is with the International Co. of the Union Carbide Corp. A February wedding is planned for Bill La Fleur and Dawn Finan of Litchfield, Conn. Joe Carter and Dorothy Ansaldi look forward to their June wedding. Joe is associated with the Simmons Co. as Atlantic Division labor relations manager after having received his Master's degree in business from Cornell. Buenos Aires will be the setting for the" April wedding of Ward Burian and Virginia Ganly of that city. Ward works with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

If my memory serves me, I already mentioned that Joe Blake had accepted the rather incongruous position as an FBI Special Agent. May I now add that he's been assigned to the Tampa, Fla., office in an effort to solve the whole Cuba affair. Well, things have not been too tough it appears. Seems he managed the trip to Princeton to see the big game - saw Dick Frisch and John Murphy among others. J.B. reports he's developed a new version of the twist — drink in one hand, his .38 in the other. Sounds like a fairly lethal combination.

Heard recently from Harry Dodds who as you know has been working in Nigeria as an assistant Commissioner for Native Courts. He's presently studying the Penal Code and Hausa at the Institute of Administration in Zaria. He just heard the favorable results of his New York and District of Columbia bar exams.

Another correspondent was Pete Kenny who is still with the Systems Division of Remington Rand. Pete sounds well and reports he's looking forward to our sth reunion. Pete's note included info, on AlBrown who's now temporarily in Alaska on sub patrol missions but who normally lives at Whilley (Wash.) Air Base with his wife and son. Living in Springfield, Ill., and working for the bond department of Aetna Life Insurance Co. is Buck Coon. Buck's married and is the father of a son, born last summer. Thanks much for the note, Pete.

After four months' training school in New York, Bob Clothier's back in Philadelphia with the Francis I. DuPont Co. brokerage outfit. He's moving into an apartment with George Salkeld and three others quite soon. Bob says he too saw the Princeton game and attended a great party thrown by Chap Jacobus in Montclair after the game.

The Rochester, N. Y. '58 contingent seems well represented by John Durkin, who's with Leaseway Transportation Corp.; Al Mueller with Owens-Illinois Glass Co.; and Doug Wilder, with IBM. All of them, incidentally, happen to be married.

Gene Principi's moved into a new position as foreman in a production area of Packard Electric Division of G.M. JohnMcKee was a recent recipient of a Master's degree in Romance Languages and Literature from Princeton. Navy Lt. (jg) FredBagnall just completed 82nd Airborne Div. Jump School at Ft. Bragg, N. C. Assigned as executive officer of a Ft. Bliss, Tex., Finance Disbursing Section was Army Ist Lt. Al Greener who lives there with his wife Margot.

A parting word ... if any of you plan a ski vacation this spring in Colorado or any other place, for that matter, give the Indianhead Mountain area near Grant, Colo., a try. Bob Gebhardt, along with his wife Salty, have been working on this area for a long time now and this dream has finally materialized. I'm sure that Bob, who's the area manager, would be glad to welcome any 58 who might appear and I think that you'll be surprised how well equipped this area is seeing as how it's such a new development.
