The other pace-setting team is the wrestlers with a 2-0 record. Whitey Burnham's matmen have defeated Worcester Poly Tech 22-8 and Tufts 25-5.

Junior Rick DuPuy, who was high scorer with 24 points in 1962, has already taken two firsts at 130 pounds, while senior Andy Alland has also posted a pair of victories. Captain Lee Bateman lost his match against Worcester, but came back to register a secondperiod pin in his match with Tufts. The Indian captain was winner of three out of four matches in 1962 and was third in the New England Intercollegiates. He is currently wrestling at 177 pounds.

Another Indian who deserves watching is Ivars Bembris, who has won two matches at 147. Last year's freshman captain Doug Miller has also opened his varsity career with two decisions at 157 pounds. Elsewhere Floyd Moore has been winning at 167 and Dennis Eberl at 137.
