We have learned via the Military Personnel Records center in St. Louis that Maj.Ethelbert Talbot's address as of December 1957 was Lindamoor on Savern, Wilson Road extended, Annapolis, Md., so we hope to reach him there for our 50th and his first attended reunion.
Dr. Cyrus C. Jones has retired from his dental practice and hospital work in New York to 780 Indian Beach Circle, Sarasota, Fla., and has forwarded the Dartmouth Club of Sarasota News Sheet. President Dickey will be the guest of the club on March 2. He also forwarded the January issue of the Ivy League Club of Sarasota Notes.
Lawrence C. Nickerson has retired in Boston from the Henry W. Savage, Inc., Brookline office, so we look for him in Hanover.
The Class of 1913 was tops in attendance at the Palm Beach County alumni: Cap Avery, Earle Bidwell, George Davidson and Harold McAllister. There were fifteen present.
Don Cunningham, Bob More, Jack Nelson, Parker Trowbridge, Line Wilson, and Warde Wilkins were invited to attend the Alumni Council and the 1962 Football dinner at Alumni Hall in Hopkins Center but only Warde made it. He sat with Ray Maloney of Hanover for this marvelous occasion. Read about it in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE and our own Class Newsletter.
Louis Foster will return to Hanover in June, his first reunion attendance. Other "firsts" will be "Dutch" Barends, Don King, Hammy Hamilton, Eddie Edwards, Dave Morey, and Ed Stiles. There will be others back for the first reunion - not necessarily the first time back in Hanover.
Harold McAllister's son, Harold Jr., followed him in the insurance business; Hal Jr. '40 and Tuck '41 is district manager of the Phoenix Insurance in Raleigh, N. C. Donald '46 was Tuck '48 and Alan '48 was Tuck '50. The Korean affair accounts for the fact they did not graduate from Tuck when one would expect.
General Wilson and Edna have left Delray Beach, Fla., for a two-month stay in St. Croix in the Virgin Islands. He reports that George Tilton had been desperately ill last fall in Palm Beach but is now able to go out for a little walk.
lim Jordan of Belmont has been in contractors' equipment with Hedge Mattheis Co., Needham Heights. Mass., for 41 years and is still going strong.
The Boston Alumni dinner of the Harvard Club on January 31 was one of the best for years and years. Bill Davis, Steele, Shumway, and Wilkins had some 1911 and 1912 men with us at our table.
