Bill Ballard is at the drama again. "Third Best Sport" is the vehicle. Our man was in the lead role in this funny business about some business executives and their wives on vacation in Florida which the Manor Club of Pelham presented a short while ago. He and Naomi are president of the Couples Club at the Huguenot Church of Pelham, where Bill has also involved himself in theater. Our newsletter editor is still making his living in the advertising business in Manhattan.

Charlie Russell is about to marry. Ruth Louise Smith is his young lady. Ruth has been an associate in mathematics education with the New York State Education Department in Albany. Charlie has an episode in his past at Albany, and the casual observer would deduce that in that balmy setting he fell under Ruth's spell. Charlie's present pursuit is Assistant to the President of Bryant College in Providence.

Sam Stone, our professional party man ("The Cotillion" in Taunton, Mass., "New England's largest private party facility"), has been moving ahead in political matters. The new Lt. Governor of Massachusetts, Francis Bellotti, has appointed Sam his administrative assistant. Sam has been leg man for Bellotti for over a year, having organized a committee in the successful politician's favor in Bristol County. Sam and Joyce live in Brockton, have three kids.

Rog Bailey is now Trust Officer and Assistant Secretary of the Northwestern National Bank in Minneapolis. His home: 9001 West 34th St., St. Louis Park 26, Minn.

Frank Blanc is now a Registered Representative of McKelvy & Co. in Pittsburgh. If you want to buy any McKelvys, call Frank.

Bill Buettner is in the vanguard of the new punch card age. He is Branch Chief of the Data Processing Systems Division of the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington. Private visits may be made on Bill and Barbara at 6225 Warwick Drive in D. C. If you find out what happened to the old Buettner Pest Control Co. of Brooklyn and how it led to Data Processing, please let me know.

Arnold Cleveland is peddling books for Bobbs-Merrill and makes home for Phyllis and the mob (five at last count) at a most euonymous spot: Rolling Knolls Way (R.D. 5, Somerville, N. J.).

Dick Day is still with the family concern Day Bros, in Worcester. He and Ruth also live, ha, surprise, in Worcester, 43 Cataract St., if you want to call and go over the falls in a barrel.

Charlie Fay, having given up the Marines, has joined the throng in the insurance business: Special Agent X-9 for the Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co. in Phoenix. Charlie and Norma apparently liked their service assignment in Phoenix so well they elected to stay.

Mike McGean, our Associate Secretary of the College, and Lois have moved into their fancy new house on Pine Tree Road up above Norwich.

Ray Millemann has left the University of Rochester Medical School, where he was an assistant professor of bacteriology and parasitology, and has taken up with the Department of Fish and Game Management of Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore.

Louis Mulkera is in the glamorous occupation of international banking administration with the Bank of America in San Francisco. Louis and Dorothy had been in Beirut, Lebanon, where father was manager of the Bank of America operation.

Bill Perkins is another military apostate. He has left the Air Force, where he was a Captain, and has become Consultant and Assistant to the President of Consumer Research, Inc., in Sparta, N. J. Bill and Zelah also live in Sparta, at 5 Sunset Trail.

Bill Rogers has joined the fascinating Cambridge organization, Arthur D. Little, Inc., as Head of the Biochemistry Department. He had been research leader with General Foods, at their Research Center in Tarrytown. N. Y. This new assignment has

caused Bill and Ruthanne to move to Carlisle, Mass., Rutland Road. Bob Schmitz has moved from one division (Cleveland Graphite Bronze) to another (Clevite Electronic Components Div.) in the Clevite Corp., Cleveland. Bob lives at the University Club there. He is a cost accountant.

Stu Silver, boy surgeon, is now practicing at the Orange Memorial Hospital in East Orange, N. J. Stu and Pat live in Essex Fells, at 11 Welsh Rd.

Sandy Smith is a head shrinker in Chicago, dividing his time between private practice and teaching, as Instructor in the University of Illinois Medical School. Sandy and Isolde live in Chicago, 159 West Burton.

Lee Smith appears to be doing beautifully with the National Copper and Smelting Co. His latest title: Executive Vice-President. Lee and Sally have their home in Cleveland, 31000 Summit Lane.

Tom Walsh has moved his selling activities from the Dayton Rubber Co. to the Refreshment Service Co. His home is 853 Naugatuck Ave., Milford, Conn.

Howie Wellman is bigger in chocolate. He has taken over as Plant Manager of the Nestle Co.'s operation in Granite City, Ill. Howie and Caroline lived formerly in Freehold, N. J., while he was with a different Nestle plant.

Paul Woodberry has a fat new title at W. R. Grace and Co. in New York: Vicepresident. Paul and Sandy have moved from Manhattan apartment life to Weston Hill Rd. in Riverside, Conn.
