Jim Critchfield is vice president of a newly organized insurance company (casualty) in Pittsburgh. John Loveland is appointed agency manager for Equitable of lowa Insurance Company's Chicago office. John was previously with Bankers Life of Nebraska. He is a director of the Chicago Association of Life Underwriters.

Charlie Vanderhoof has been keeping his wife in oils and watercolors. She's a painter and was recently featured in a show in Cleveland, their native habitat. Father is occupied with the family heating and air conditioning firm.

Zandy Taft has been named Republican Majority Floor Leader in the New Hampshire House of Representatives. He was a leading candidate for the Speakership, which wound up in the Dartmouth hands of Walter Peterson '47, with whom Zandy will be working closely.

Rusty Cort, billed as "experimental psychologist and human factors scientist," has joined the Systems Engineering Division of Planning Research Corp. He will be attached to the Command Systems Department in the Washington office. Rusty was chairman of the Psychology Department at Ripon College in Wisconsin, for five years, then moved to General Electric, Syracuse, to do the above kind of job.

Ort Hicks, Cultural Officer in the USIA, Cologne, Germany, has had a second son, Orton III. Joe Leßlanc is made Headmaster at the Short Hills Country Day School, Short Hills, N. J.

Doug Stevenson is now a registered representative in Minneapolis with the international investment banking firm of Kidder, Peabody. Doug had been with the Northwestern National Bank there. He has organized the sport of rugby in the Minneapolis area, on the side.

Bud Hughes is made partner in Lord, Abbett & Co., the managing and underwriting firm for the Affiliated Fund, one of the largest of the open end common stock investment mutual funds.

Jack Flanagan has been in building materials in Phoenix, is now moved to California (Costa Mesa), where he is selling for the firm of Jaeger & Branch in Los Angeles. Bob Grey, our man in the foreign service, is now moved from Bolivia to Honduras, where he is with USAID. Wain Holt is in sales with the Allis Chalmers Co. in Manhattan. He has a new home in Wyckoff, N. J.

John Klebe, one of our men of the cloth (Presbyterian cloth), has moved from Tacoma to Eugene, Ore.

Bob Leary, a soldier in 1949's army of insurance men, has a new home, out in the country near Middleboro, Mass. He was with New England Mutual Life, and I have no reason to believe he is not still. Ed McNeil is in sales with the St. Regis Paper Company and has a new place in Chagrin Falls (sic), Ohio.

Brayt Meyer is one of our small contingent across the waters. He is with the Standard of Jersey, counting the money. He has moved from Buenos Aires to Bombay. BerfOakley is broking for the Dempsey-Tegeler Co. in Scottsdale, Ariz. Bill Perkins, now that he has parted company with the Air Force, is managing something or other in Sparta, N. J., and has a new home at 24 Wallkill Rd.

Warren Povey is our physician in charge of the women at Womans Hospital in Manhattan. Bob Priester is still busy banking in Denver. He has a new home at 1428 E. 4th St. Bob Reed, who is in charge of marketing for Tidewater Oil, has moved from Los Angeles to Tulsa.

Nick Rogers, another banker (Marine Midland as I recall), is now to be found in Pearl River. N. Y., having forsaken Waldwick, N. J. Bobb Slattery, having given up Lever Bros., is now the Sales Manager for the Warren P. Rash Co., in Middlesboro, Ky.

Al Sullivan, Naval Lieutenant Commander, has a new ship, in Salt Lake City. The one in North Kingstown, R. 1., sank. BillThayer is still making investments in Minneapolis. He has a new location: 4401 Ellsworth Dr. Dave Vogels, Air Force Major, is flying out of Riverside, Calif. Frosty Williams continues to invest money in Sacramento, although his home is now made at a new address: 4011 Marconi #6.
