All previous attendance records for our Freshman Send-Off Dinner were broken when approximately 70 alumni, undergraduates, incoming freshmen and their fathers were present at the first official event at our our new headquarters, the Poor Richard Club, on Wednesday, September 9, 1964. The guest speaker, Matt Donaldson '67, explained his freshman year and "What To Look Out For," in a most humorous manner. The evening, which started with a cocktail hour and dinner was topped off with the 1963 Dartmouth Football Highlights movie.
The following dates must be marked on your calendar - Saturday, November 21, following the Dartmouth-Penn Football Game at Franklin Field, the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia will be holding its fabulous post-game cocktail party in the University of Pennsylvania Museum, Egyptian (Mummy) Room. The proceeds of this affair will go to the Dartmouth Club of Philadelphia's Scholarship Fund.
The Annual Dutch Treat Luncheon for undergraduates, dads and alumni has been tentatively scheduled for Monday, December 28.
Although this article will appear after our first annual Dartmouth Night celebration, we are happy to report that a fantastic night is expected to be had by all on October 9, 1964.
