'45 out!! - and greetings to all after the summer inactivity(?) ...

Virginia and Fred Perry have moved their base of operations from Uruguay to Weston, Mass., primarily because of the education of their five children. Fred is still a busy traveler what with his business, Perry and Todd, Inc. (wool export) taking him frequently to England and Uruguay. Their oldest two children, Betsy and Winthrop, are continuing their education at Barnard and Phillips Academy, Andover, respectively. This is a real Dartmouth family with Virginia being the sister of FrankBousquet and Fred the son of W. Scott Perry '10.

Helen and Bebe Miller join the list of '45s with a son at Dartmouth as Craig is in the current freshman class. Craig, who attended the American School in Lugano, Switzerland, was highly complimented in the Swiss press for his skiing - sounds optimistic for the Big Green.

Bob Pease, who lives on 516 Park Street in Upper Montclair, N. J., is sporting two new titles: 1) director of planning and special effects of the Schering Laboratories; and 2) president of the Adult School of Montclair, N. J. Prior to his new Schering position, Bob had been senior associate with Cresap, McCormick and Paget, manage- ment consultants in New York.

Gus Black is currently on leave of absence from Vermont Academy. He and Jean, with the 4 children, at last report were about to take off on a cross-country camping trip.

Two recent address changes sound intriguing — Jim Drumm from Buenos Aires to Lima, Peru and Ron Egan from London to Rome. How about bringing us up to date fellows!!

Here and there. ... Bob Lee has been named branch manager of White, Weld and Co.'s New Haven, Conn, office. ... JohnHartshorn, vice-president and secretary of General Refractories Co., was recently elected a director of the firm.. . . Lucille andDick Gilnian spent a month in Europe before Dick assumed the presidency of Occidental College. ... Bill Alpert has been elected chairman of the board of the Murray Hill Fund, a new no-load mutual investment fund. ... Bob Perry has taken over the duties of associate dean of the College of Engineering and Applied Science, University of Rochester.

The weekend of November 13 will find the class officers assembled in Hanover for their fall meeting. That will be the Cornell weekend and, as most of the officers will be staying at the Norwich Inn, any '45s in town should head in that direction.
