Joanne and Ed Crane and Paul Caravatt with daughters Cyndie and Suzy upheld the honor of '45 on a recent Boston Alumni Club trip to Paris. During the trip the group was entertained by a group of undergraduates studying in France.

John Ruppe, Bay Shore, N. Y., dermatologist, was recently reported in a medical publication as participating in a panel discussion at the American School Health Association meeting. This brought forth the comment from orthopedic surgeon Bill Hatt of Sarasota, Fla., that John obviously hasn't solved the problem of male baldness—so what's unusual about bald dermatologists in the Class of '45!?!

A new position in a new country is reported by Bill Gauntlett who is now director of Colegio Americano de Torreon located in Coaheuila, Mexico. Other interesting address changes find JimKehoe leaving Marietta, Ga., for Longmeadow, Mass., and Ken Bird with a new address of Starksboro, Vt., to replace his Attleboro, Mass., home base.

It was a Christmas season wedding for HowieSawyer and Alice Parsons (also an anesthesiologist). Attending the happy couple in the Portland, Me., ceremony was Art Nichols who flew in from San Francisco.

To add to John Ormand's various positions as outlined in a recent column comes the announcement that John serves on the steering committee of Alumni Unlimited of New Orleans, an organization formed to promote inter-alumni activities.

It's a happy new year for Marylee and JohnOsborn as daughter Heidi was accepted under the early decision plan for the Class of 1977. As John says: "This makes me a real believer in coeducation at Dartmouth."

Until next month ...
