For those of you who are beginning to yearn for those warm spring days of May, or of warmer climes such as California in January, you should consider yourselves lucky with just plain ice and snow. We in California have just completed twenty consecutive days of very steady rain, our floodwaters have finally begun to recede and I now know what it must be like to live in monsoon country. However, we have one consolation. The snow pack in the Sierras has created the most ideal skiing conditions in many years. Come West, all ye skiers!
