The Dartmouth Alumni Fund campaign is on for 1965. Bob Kenyon, our head Class Agent, and his assistants did a wonderful job last year, so let's give them our very best support before June 30. I am sure you will.
Crick Crockett and Bill Smart represented our class of 1907 at the Dartmouth Alumni Dinner in Boston on February 2 and had an enjoyable time. President Dickey's address was very interesting. After the Boston dinner Bill and Ruth spent a month's vacation in Sarasota, Fla., which is quite unusual for Bill in his profession.
Judge and Elizabeth McLane send greetings to classmates. Judge is quite well and enjoying life as it is.
Ethel and I made a trip recently to Keene, N. H., to see Don Williams and daughter Dorace. Don, as you know, is retired and remains at home while Dorace is very busy at the Court House.
Robert Stokes of Newtown, Conn., and Mina are enjoying the transition from being New Jerseyites to becoming Connecticut Yankees, and are in good health.
Bob and Lura Kenyon of Anna Maria, Fla., have been spending most of the winter at Lura's sister in Pensacola; she has been quite ill.
Mrs. Carroll C. Holden, widow of our classmate of Proctor, Vt., passed away on January 24, 1965. They were both loyal to Dartmouth through the years.
On February 1 Allan Brown flew to San Francisco to see his son, and then he visited with George Hoyt and Harriett, RockyHazen, and Bill Jennings. He then returned to Anna Maria. He sure covers a large area.
Bishop Niles, O. C. Davis, Leon Sprague, and Allan were at a recent get-together at Sarasota, Fla.
New addresses: Mrs. Charles D. Ryder (Elizabeth) is now living at the Hotel Knickerbocker, Hollywood and Ivor Streets, Hollywood, Calif.
Classmates having birthdays during April are Allan Brown and John Burton, 4; Bill Smart, 22; and Walter Nesmith, 25.
Our informal reunion will take place on Commencement weekend, June 11, 12, and 13, and I hope that you will let me know if you are planning to be there, so that your secretary can send you a room application.
"Seven Oughty Sevens" in Florida in '64 included (l to r): Bill Walker, O.C. Davis,Allan Brown, the late Tute Worthen, Duke Sanborn, Bob Kenyon, Leon Sprague.
