Jeanette Adams writes that her grandson, Winthrop Adams Rockwell, becomes Dartmouth '70 in September. What a marvelous backlog, seventh son of Dartmouth with an inheritance from both sides of the family!

Bill Towler has retired from Town and Country after being on their board for 28 years. As you would know, Hearst has made certain that his extraordinary qualities are still available to their organization. Bill is taking on the publication of a new annual (News Bazaar) to be brought out April 1, 1967. Congratulations to Hearst Publications - and Bill Towler!

In the Pinkerton Academy Newsletter there's a picture of the Forsaiths and Shepards, at a cake cutting scene in celebration of the Academy's 150 th anniversary.

Ralph and Florence Samuel around the middle of September will go to Europe for a few weeks, every wish for a good holiday to you both. And Lilian Gulick, too, will be in Europe.

A Fall Reunion without the Conants saying "Hello" will seem strange. Bob and Mildred sailed on the "S.S. Carinthia" August 11 for a trip to England, Scotland, and the Continent - arriving back in Montreal on October 20.

Ed Robinson's son John tells me that Ed fell in June, broke two ribs and has been confined to his apartment ever since. That makes for tough going, Ed, and we all hope that you will be out and around before too long.
