The past month has been strangely quiet as far as known social events involving '58's are concerned. In fact, we have but one item to report. On December 9, Jerry Manne was married to the former Miss Sandra Pasbjerg in New York City. Jerry and Sandra are now living in Fairmont, Minn., where Jerry is managing the local office of Continental Grain Company.

Pete Friend has been appointed an instructor in English at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Me., for 1966-1967. Pete's appointment will run for four years. LarryFuller is teaching at Blair Academy in Blairstown, N. J. Ben Cooper is similarly occupied at The Lawrenceville School in Lawrenceville, N. J. Bill Kirchner is now in Paris completing some research for his doctoral thesis.

The legal profession has lured some former classmates. Harry Johnson is with the Richmond, Va., firm of Parker and Sullivan. Mike Welch is an attorney in San Diego, as are Ron Snow in Concord, N. H., Geoff Picket in New York City, Fred Turner in Buffalo, Ted Kleinman in Arlington, Va., Fred Kosmo in Ventura, Calif., Bob Eleveld in Grand Rapids, Mich., John Fisk in Rockville, Conn., Ed Eppich in Denver, Colo., and Larry Shaw in Bellevue, Wash. Pete Van is a lawyer, living in Newton Center, Mass. Jim Sullivan is also an attorney in the Boston area. Jim is living in West Roxbury. Glower Jones is a lawyer, living in Avondale Estates, Ga. Dave Stevens is an attorney in East Chicago, Ind. Don Goebert is also a member of the profession, living in West Chester, Pa.

Tom Liebschutz is presently a Rabbi in Chicago.

In the world of business, Bruce Black-well is now in Vienna, Austria, establishing an office of Union Carbide which will cover parts of the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. Joe Einhorn is working for IBM in their White Plains, N. Y., complex. JohnHicks is with Kaiser Industries in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Phil Bell is with the public accounting firm of Lybrand, Ross Bros., and Montgomery in Los Angeles, Calif.

We have a minimum of four lieutenants now serving in the Navy. Pete Olsen is in Thompsonville, Conn., John McMillin is in New York City, Pete Crane is in St. Louis and Al Brown is at the Point Sur Naval Facility in Big Sur, Calif.

Also serving in the Armed Forces are Capt. Frank Gould, now a dentist at Fort Benning, Ga., and Capt. Don Walker, attached to a SAGE Squadron at Hancock Field, N. Y.

For those who happened to glimpse this epic in the past two months of the MAGAZINE, the fact that we have not yet run out of physicians will doubtless be astounding. We have, however, at least four more in the Boston area alone. This is unquestionably the best place in the world to get sick. Dr.Tom Aaberg is at the famed Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary on the banks of the Charles. Gerry Polin and Bob Rosenberg are both physicians living in suburban Brookline and Dr. Pete Spiegel is in Boston.

Bart Apfelbaum is a captain in the Marine Corps and a physician at the U.S. Soldiers Home in Washington, D. C. DaveChild is now a doctor at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in New Orleans. Also a physician in New Orleans is Tim Doty. Dr. Don McNellis is at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, N. Y. Dr.Harvey Bloom is at Grand Forks Air Force Base in Grand Forks, N. Dak. Dr. Dodd Wilson is in the Navy in Minneapolis. Chris Brown is a physician in St. Paul.

The New York City area is not without its share of '5B medicine men. In Brooklyn are Drs. Harvey Grable and Noel Nathanson. Dr. Pete Epstein is in Bayside on Long Island and Dr. Mike Simberkoff is living in Mount Vernon.

Dr. Stu Kornfeld is in University City, Mo., and Dr. Al Baker is in Albany, Ga.

There are still a great many classmates whom we have not had the privilege of mentioning in these pages since graduation. There are also many whose activities have not been chronicled to the present day or have been inadequately detailed. In the event that you fit one of these categories or know of classmates who do, please don't hesitate to pass the information along. It is likely that many of you are not the least bit interested in reading of your own escapades, but your classmates are. Further, to the extent that you have any subjects of discussion which you feel should be brought to the attention of the Class, we would appreciate learning of them.
