The February issue of the Fortune magazine carries a picture of Nat Leverone in color, which makes him look younger than when he was in college. In the article it says that "a list of his past activities fills eighteen pages of single-spaced typing. It ranges from secretary of the Chicago Crime Commission to attendance at the Anti-Superstition Society — at whose Friday the thirteenth dinners salt is spilled and mirrors are smashed."
Everyone will recall that Grace and ConChellis moved from Meriden, N. H., to Summerville, S. C., to escape the cold and snow. But during January they woke up several mornings thinking they were back in Meriden. The thermometer was down to ten and the ground was covered with snow.
The Class will be very sorry to learn that Herb Rainie died on February 8. Flowers were sent from the class for his funeral on February 11 and Florence has written that the floral tribute was unusually lovely.
A letter from Eliot Cogswell makes a correction of a note which appeared in the January column: "Through some apparent peculiar error it was stated that Ruth and I had moved from Hartford to Oak Park, Ill. I am still actively practicing in Hartford and living in West Hartford. I trust that this error may be rectified promptly so that I may continue to receive Dartmouth news. Ruth and I are looking forward to our sixtieth in June."
I hope that every classmate will keep in mind the two "musts" that he has to carry out this June. 1 - Attend our 60th Reunion and 2, Make a contribution to the 1906 Alumni Fund. It is most important that we make a good record as this is our last official reunion and we must have a 100% participation in Alumni Fund giving.
Be sure to let Francis know what your plans are and make your reservations early. The following will celebrate their birthdays this month: Chase, Cushing, Howe, Russ, Watson Smith and Twiss.
