The Ottaway Newspapers-Radio Incorporated recently purchased The Cape Cod Standard Times among other periodicals. John Rogers will remain as editor and publisher of the Cape Cod paper.... DickBurke writes the following in answer to my inquiry for news: "I don't think anything has happened to me lately that is worth printing. Last year was a big year for me as far as the Class and the College were concerned because I got to the Reunion and to the Yale game. I took my camera with me and got some great character portraits of such distinguished citizens as PhilMayher and Jack Ackley, Gus Wiedenmayer,Jack Gunther, Jack Hubbard and anyone else I could get within range. This maneuver was really aimed at getting a chance to take pictures of their good-looking wives, which I did, and all of that gave me the material for some good Christmas messages. These in turn drew some letters in response and all-in-all, I repeat, I have had a most rewarding year as far as the College and the Class are concerned. Hope to repeat next year and hope to see you again before the next reunion."

Jack is vice president of a food company in California and Bob is with Arthur Young & Company, CPA firm, living here in Minneapolis. I am still with First National Bank of Minneapolis and interested in local community affairs. Perhaps the best known one outside of Minneapolis is the Guthrie Theatre of which I am a director. Wife, Dotty, is very active in local organizations such as 100-year-old YWCA. Herb Bissell, vice president of Honeywell, and Stan Piatt, successful investment counselor, are the only other Twenty-Niners in Minneapolis."
