NOVEMBER 1967 ROBERT B. KIRSCH, RICHARD HOLLERITH JR.

We don't know how the statistics on mo- bility would stand up for our class in relation to other classes or the population of the country. In the last several months there have been 36 change of address notices or approximately 8% of our class have moved their families and homes recently. We thought it might be of interest to list these new addresses and to suggest that if you see a classmate that has moved nearby that you pick up the phone, say hello and possibly get together with him. We are sure he would welcome hearing from you. The names are alphabetically given and the addresses furnished are the new addresses these men have moved to.

Best wishes to all these men and their families in their new locations and whatever career changes may be involved. Let us hear from you.

Congratulations to Dick Hill Jr. who has recently won a membership in the eleventh President's Club of the National Life Insurance Company of Vermont. Dick's outstanding client and sales service have earned him eligibility to attend the club's educational conference at El Mirador Hotel, Palm Springs, Calif., in October. By the time we read this Dick should have returned from this interesting jaunt. In addition to his career achievements, Dick is prominent and active in civic affairs.

Congratulations also to Don Arel who has been named district sales manager of the Arrow-Hart and Hegeman Electric Com- pany of Hartford, Conn. Don has assumed full responsibility for the sales oper- ation in the New England district for this company. Don is a member of the Electrical Manufacturers Representative Club of New England, Electric Institute of Boston, Electric League of Rhode Island, Worcester County Electric League and the Vermont Electric Association. He lives in Northampton

We were delighted to hear from Norm Falkin who reports that he is senior engineer with the Long Island Lighting Company where he has been for the last eleven years. He serves on the board of trustees of the North Shore Synagogue in addition to being a father and coach to two daughters and one son. We say coach because his twelve-year- old daughter, Robin, is a tomboy and a won- derful athlete. His eight-year-old son, Mitchell, in addition to playing the trombone and piano, is a good lefty batter and his six-year- old daughter, Nancy, goes in for ballet, acrobats, and baton twirling. Norm, whom we remember for his varsity performance in basketball, football, and golf, modestly reports that he is still shooting in the low 80s mainly due to his chipping and putting and guarantees that he is slimmer than Al Bildner but doubts if he has as much power.

Bob Foote is the recipient of the Howard Cullman Service Fellowship awarded annually by the Port of New York Authority. Bob, who joined the Port Authority in 1949, now holds the position of Manager of the Research Division in the Tunnel and Bridges Department. His fellowship year will be devoled to a study of changes expected in road and other land transportation operations. Bob has participated in traffic flow plans for three-tube operation at the Lincoln Tunnel and is responsible for the tunnel traffic control system using closed circuit television and automatic traffic sensing devices in use since 1965. He and Susanne and their two sons live in Darien, Conn.

We felt it would be of interest to the class to know a little bit more about Ed Senghas who has so gallantly assumed the presidency of our class for the next five years. This term of office is one of the most challenging and certainly has the heaviest responsibilities. In addition to normal activities of the class president, which are numerous, there is the organization of the huge twenty-fifth reunion and the effort for the greatest amount of total class giving for the. twenty- fifth. Ed's past record of involvement indi- cates that he has the energy, enthusiasm, and ability to do an outstanding job on our behalf.

Ed is still president of the Dartmouth Club of Bergen County which is one of the largest and most active Dartmouth Clubs in existence. He was voted Dartmouth Club secretary of the year for his outstanding performance in this area. In addition on behalf of Dartmouth he is actively engaged in recruiting in the local high school. We all know of course that he conducted our highly successful twentieth reunion.

Ed is the manager of the uniform department of the J. P. Stevens Company, one of the world's largest textile firms. In addition to the overall management and administrative duties of this large department, he travels a great deal on behalf of the company. One would think that this heavy involvement in Dartmouth affairs and business travel would leave him time for little else yet Ed is involved with little league football and teaches Sunday school. He lives with his wife, Eleanor, daughter Dorothy age sixteen and son Robert age eleven in their new home at 3 Holly Court, Woodcliff Lake, N. J. We are indeed fortunate to have a class president with so much ability, enthusiasm, and the willingness to devote so much time to our class and the college. Our very best wishes for a highly successful administration.
