The chill is back in the air once again and the skies are just a bit darker these days. Could be that we'll be seeing that white stuff before too long.

In spite of the disaster at Yale, I am still able to savor the thrill at Harvard. Many '62's were seen wandering around the stadium and Briggs Cage. Carl Palmer is still easy to spot in a crowd and informed me he was best man at Bill Pierce's wedding. Gordi Williamson, one of the surviving members of the Renegade Squad, is busy getting ready for the Mass. bar exam. Gordi and the Mrs. spent the summer touring Europe following Gordi's liberation from Harvard Law School.

Jack Ladd, still single and still looking, was there smiling and still looking. Jack is situated in New York with Time, Inc., and reported that Chuck Preuss stopped by on his way to Europe this summer. The Gundy family sent on word of young Dave Gundy, who is busy being a resident doctor at the University of Minnesota Hospital located in Minneapolis. No doubt Dave has hooked up with John Wilkinson a couple of times.

Fred Cook was seen carting some refreshments around Harvard, and asked to be remembered to you. John Schiffman and Mike Slive road-tripped down from Hanover. There were many others but for some reason I do not have total recall.

All of you having difficulty with your 1040 forms, just contact Colin Harley. Colin is operating as a tax expert, toiling with a large New York law firm. But bigger news is the arrival of Colin Emile Harley Jr., first child for Colin and Emilia. The Harleys find the city agreeable except for breathing the soot. Must miss that clean South Carolina ozone.

Tom Grey tied the knot last June to Carolyn Fletcher. The ceremony took place in Bangkok, Thailand, where Tom traveled after getting a brief relief from Viet Nam. T. Grey was recently seen in Hanover and is reportedly now out of the service and is domiciled in Chicago with Carolyn.

Tom Brooks has found his way to Berkeley, Calif., where he is an English instructor at the University of California. Tom picked up his Ph.D. from Indiana University in June, and he and his wife, Roberta, are now paying taxes to Ronald Reagan. Down in Bloomfield, N. J., they managed to hold George Haubner still long enough to wed him to Kathleen Frances Young. George spent some time at Syracuse picking up his Master's and is now with the trust department at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company in New York.

Bill Edgar now spends his time taking orders for Xerox. Bill joined up in June of '65, and recently was graduated from the company's National Sales Development Center in Florida. Bill is territory representative of Xerox's Waltham, Mass., branch and can be found in Natick, Mass.

Dave Usher has joined the sales staff in the pulp division of Domtar Pulp & Paper, Inc. of New York, U.S. subsidiary of Domtar Ltd. Dave completed eight months of training at various company mills in Canada recently. Before that he put in a four-year stint in the Marine Corps, including a tour as a captain in Vietnam. Dave and Gail with Elizabeth and Scott make their home at 51 Eunice Avenue in Fairfield, Conn.

Last July Chris Lane was tripped up by Peggy Ann Offutt of Warrenton, Va. The new Mrs. Lane is on the faculty of the Dalton School in New York while Chris fights the City traffic for White Weld and Company. The flying Dutchman Walk Goedkoop found himself a bride this last summer. Nothing more to report there except he won't be spending any more summers in Fairmont, Minn.

The good Dr. Donald Miller, now a surgical resident at the Roosevelt Hospital in New York, asked the right question and received the right answer and was married in June to Nell Crandell Bowen, a 1967 Smith graduate. Don picked up his M.D. from Harvard before heading to New York. BobEder is busy doctoring at Cook County Hospital in Chicago. Bob and Nancy, plus young Daniel Paul, are settled in Chicago where they lived while Bob attended the Chicago Medical School.

Sid Levitt is busy covering the news beat for the local paper here in this section of New Hampshire, and is in fact the bureau chief in my fair town of Somersworth.

That's the story for this month. Keep the news coming and have a very pleasant holiday season.
