Ted Bennett, Episcopal priest, brings us the latest on his doings ... "responsible for campus ministry for the Episcopal Church. That means half-time traveling all over the country, and last four years overseas, too - Philippines, Japan, Taiwan, Argentina, Panama, Guatemala, Mexico; and recently twice to Europe - Prague last year, Berlin next month Still living on 97th Street in Manhattan."

With a Bloomfield, Mich., home address BUI Merrill reports that he has become a partner in the Detroit-Birmingham law firm of Parsons, Tennet, Hammond, Hardig and Ziegelman. He is also a director of the Industrial Bank and Trust Co. of Kalamazoo and reports frequent meetings with GeorgeMiller who is president of the Bank of the Commonwealth.

John Burroughs is now manager of Baird, Inc., a forms manufacturing firm. John, who had been district sales manager of Standard Registry, lives in McMurray, Pa.

Jim Fannon, living in Wilton, Conn., writes "Working in New York in my own business, Fannon and Osmond, Inc., employing about 25 people and engaged in writing and producing industrial sales meetings and shows around the country."

Another president has been added to the class roster in Bob Haffenreffer, who recently became president of Ellis Paperboard Products, Inc., headquartered in Portland, Me. Bob is also executive vice-president and on the board of directors of a subsidiary firm, Dominion Paperboard Products, Ltd of Nova Scotia.

There are a few more details to add to the brief mention of Ralph Blackburn in the January issue. Circulation director of McGraw-Hill's "Business Week" since 1966, he now holds the newly created position of director of circulation for McGraw-Hill publications. As such, he is responsible for the development of circulation for the company's 44 publications throughout the world. A sizable assignment, but one he should handle deftly in view of his 15 years with the company.

Fred Covalt and his investment firms were the subject of a recent article in "The Wall Street Journal." The two firms, Economic Research Counselors in San Diego started in January 1967 and the firm which Fred operates at present, International Research Institute in Long Beach, Calif., are agents in buying silver bullion for their investors. The silver bullion is bought by and left on deposit in Swiss banks.

The weekend of April 27-28 will find the Executive Committee of the Class gathered in Manhattan for its spring meeting. Any '45s in the area interested in what should be a most enjoyable weekend should contact such Manhattan denizens as Paul Caravatt, Harry Hampton, or Moose Rowan for the details.

Here and there. ... Dave Hewitt, editor of the "Granite State Gazette" (the new name of the recently amalgamated "Hanover Gazette" and "Lebanon Granite State Free Press") was recently elected a director of the New England Press Association. ... Fred Campbell, recently returned to civilian life from the Marines, is an attorney-at-law in Colorado Springs. ... Steve Hull has been promoted to Colonel, USMCR, and passes on the word that Paul Glover is now executive officer, 25th regiment, Fourth Division. ... Seen skiing at Maine's Sugarloaf in February were Jean and Ted Safford,Barbara and Dick Hinman, and Molly andJohn White.
