Starting his second career as he moves from industry to the campus is Art Founds. Leaving B.F. Goodrich Chemical Co., after 20 years in research and development, Art will be associate professor of engineering administration in the School of Engineering, Bradley University, Peoria, Ill. Art, Jean and the four children will be leaving Elyria, Ohio in July.

Charlie Holt is the new varsity hockey coach at University of New Hampshire. Nancy and Charlie will be leaving Colby College, Waterville, Me., for Durham where they will join Shirley and Joe Michael in wielding a strong '45 influence on the "other New Hampshire campus."

Bill Banks, writing from Newnan, Ga., brings us up-to-date on his return to New England. "I seem to be moving into the Dartmouth orbit, at least part-time. I have a 1790 white clapboard house on the green in Temple, N. H. (pop. 360), and I spend as much time there as possible. It's good to be at least a partial New Englander again."

The Class extends its sincere sympathy to Ted Jenks on the death of his wife, Nancy.

John Ahern checks in with a thorough briefing. "I have my own business here in Minneapolis, Schiller Investment Co. We build and rent commercial real estate, manage a portfolio of common stocks, operate a chain of beauty salons. I'm a member of Rotary, the Young Presidents' Organization, Playboy Club, and the Gaslite. Just back from a ten-day cruise on the "Leonardo da Vinci" with wife and three sons, oldest boy now at Amherst. Off tonite for Las Vegas celebrating 20th wedding anniversary. I'm happy to be a Dartmouth alumnus, although I was there only one year because of the war. Graduated from the U. of Minnesota 20 years ago and seem increasingly hedonistic as the years go by."

Senator Javits, R-NY has put Lou Mills to work as deputy state coordinator of the senator's re-election campaign, with the specific responsibility of coordinating all campaign activities outside of New York City. Lou is a real estate broker, securities representative and chartered life underwriter in Middletown, N.Y., where he also served two terms as mayor.

With a home address of Walpole, Mass., George Barr tells us the latest "I have recently resigned as president of a large technical publications company and am going to try it for myself as both a consultant and producer. Having been in publications and management consulting for 20 years, I hope someone will recognize real talent when it's available (he says hopefully). Two kids, fourteen and seventeen, with older boy at Loomis. Have retired as town moderator but still active in local affairs otherwise. Laid up for ten weeks with foot operation, but hope to swing golf club again shortly. Hope to publish a book shortly on air and sea pollution, if I can get author going. Should be another 'Sea Around Us.''

The Alumni Fund is rolling into its third month. Charlie Rowan, Frank Hutchins and their 90 plus helpers are hard at work, but the College and the Class need YOU!!! Education is still the best place to put your money.

Here and there Bob Schaeberle is the new president of National Biscuit Co.... John Bernheim is the editor of the University of Pennsylvania Press.... Fred Chamberlain is food service manager of the Humboldt Medical Center, Eureka, Calif., where he also claims three children and sufficient spare time to enjoy skiing, sailing, fishing (salmon and steelhead), and clamming.

Keep in mind the fall reunion over the Brown weekend of October 18-20. These fall weekends are too good to miss!! Have a good summer!!
