The date of our usual midsummer reunion is set for July 12, 13 and 14. The details of the time and place of each gathering will be found on the postcards that our painstaking reunion chairman, C.C. Hills, will send out in due course.

We hope that any of you who are able will be on hand for this event. It is quite probable that this could be the last of these pleasant affairs. Next year, 1969, our reunion may be omitted with the thought that we shall all wish to make sure, as far as we can, of attending the reunion in 1970. That, of course, is the time of our regular five-year reunion in June. At that time, as previously noted, we, the Class of 1905, shall be special guests of the College, when arrangements for our comfort and ease will be carefully set up.

C.C. Hills was one of the first of our Class to return home from Florida. Except for an operation, which confined him for a short time in a hospital but from which he fortunately recovered quickly and satisfactorily, he reports a pleasant time, with the little reunion at Clearwater Beach marking a high spot. He adds that he had the pleasure of seeing Leon and Amy Smith several times at their charming home in Fruitland Park.

A further bit of news for which I am indebted to C.C. - "Elsie" and Marion Grover and their daughter Barbara were at the Hanover Inn on April 24 and 25, all in good health.

Fred Chase is, I believe, back home from his sojourn in the Land of Sunshine.

An interesting letter from Ruth and Charlie Goodrich relates that, while they miss the visits they used to make in Florida, they deem themselves very fortunate that they have "progeny" who make them very welcome in their respective homes. At the time of writing, they were staying with their son Bob and his wife in Tilton, N.H., their home state. Bob is an official in the N.H. Highway Department and his wife is a nurse in one of the hospitals in the vicinity. Charlie and Ruth had previously spent several months with their daughter and husband in Staten Island and will return there again later.

Your Class officers are looking forward to being in Hanover on May 10, 11 and 12 for the general Class Officers meeting.

The standing of our Class in the matter of participation in the Alumni Fund is not high. Those of you who have not as yet participated should remember that it is the number of participants, not the size of subscriptions, that determines our standing as a class. In other words, small gifts from many men are really appreciated.
