As I write these lines I am assuming that there will be a spring in 1969, and that it will have sprung by the time this column is printed. But since we in New England have just been blitzed by the second nor'easter in three weeks perhaps I'm being overly optimistic. At any rate we expect a thaw at least by reunion time and we have made arrangements for the best possible weather for June 20-22.
Incidentally, you will receive from the college this month information about reunion housing and room reservations. Once you have reserved a room through the college and made a reunion reservation and deposit the most difficult part is over. All that's left is to get a few pairs of bermudas ready, wash out your trusty drinking mug, take a quick refresher skim through the Green Book, and have your body in Hanover by Friday, June 20. Leave the rest to us - we guarantee a fabulous three days.
The following is reported with great joy and fatherly pride: on February 16 Linda presented me with a son - Michael Warren Mahoney, a 7 lbs. 12 oz. potential All-Ivy flanker - Phi Bete, but unlikely considering his heritage. Our happiness is endless, as are our nights.

Recent word from Philadelphia is high in praise for the work Harvey Welker has been doing for their Model Cities Program. Harvey is employed by the R & E Engineering firm, but has undertaken a study of student and parental attitude toward public schools as chairman of the Feedback Project sponsored by The Education Committee of Philly's Model Cities Program. The project seeks to answer many vital questions about the efficacy of the North Philadelphia school system. Harvey's engineering background has aided him in preparing a computer program for the tabulation and analysis of the survey data.
Happy Spring!
