On Saturday, December 12, we gathered for our second annual ladies' luncheon at Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Country Club in Orlando. There were 45 alumni and wives present to not only celebrate the 25th anniversary of the founding of our Club, but also to pay honor to the Club's past presidents. Of the presidents who have served the Club, there were in attendance: Don Cheney '11, (the Dean of our Club who was especially honored by President Bud Wesselmann '27 with a Dartmouth platter), John Tiedtke '30, Roger Holler'37, Jack Zimmer '42, Val Schuler '45, and Frank Tepper '55. Others unable to be present were Randy Wilson '52, Hugh Schwarz '40, Jim Thomas '40, and John Vandegrift '44. We were glad to welcome to our Club, Frank Karslake '24 and his wife Kay, who are now making Winter Park their permanent home.

On Tuesday, December 29, we held our regular undergraduate luncheon and home for this event, were Rick Proctor '72 and John Shanahan '71. As is our usual custom, Santa Claus — Don Cheney '11 — arrived with a supply of his own citrus elixir made especially for this event and all joined in a toast proposed by Don to Dartmouth. After lunch, Rick and John made some observations on events at Dartmouth and then answered questions amongst them the one of most interest was coeducation.

Our Club has recently presented copies of the book, "The College on the Hill," to both Winter Park and Orlando Public Libraries as well as to two of our local high schools. We hope to add more schools at a later date. Plans are now underway for a joint meeting with alumni from the East Coast, namely Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach, Cocoa Beach, and others in that area. We hope to work out some plan so that we can get together more often than has been the custom in the past. Other events are also being planned for the balance of the winter and spring seasons besides our regular monthly luncheons at which all alumni are most welcome.
