The "Green" is rolling again—with consecutive victories over a strong University of Massachusetts team and a not so strong Holy Cross club the Indians should be in shape for the real test against Princeton. By the time this article is read, the game will be history but the tough Ivy League schedule should be interesting for the balance of the year. In behalf of the class of '52 I extend the best of luck and lasting health to the team for the ragged schedule ahead.

Summer was swift, Indian summer is passing quickly, but the spirit of this guy is relatively high, for throughout the vacation period valuable notes have been trickling into the mail box in front of Old Ironsides.

Jack Foster becomes General Manager of the Jersey City branch of Joseph T. Ryerson & Son, Inc., the nation's largest metals service center organization, in November. He began with the company in 1952 in Detroit and moved to the national marketing staff in Chicago in 1967. This new promotion means Jack, Sally, and daughters Judy and Barbara are moving once again, this time to Mountainside, N. J.

My old friend Jay Anderson has had his name listed on the coveted door of the Price Waterhouse and Company as a full partner in the fine firm. Jay has been traveling throughout the world in behalf of the company and evidently has what it takes to make the team. Congratulations, Jay!!

Hum... Hum... "Narley Nevens" has been appointed manager of the Albany office of the Hartford Life Insurance Company in Albany, N. Y. Chuck joined the Hartford Fire in 1955, as a special agent in the Newark area; became a state agent of New York underwriters in 1958, and, in 1961, transferred to the Life Company as its manager in Albany. He retained that position, with considerable success, until 1968, at which time he joined an upstate New York agency. In returning to the Life Company he brings added knowledge of the agents and area served by the Albany Regional Office. Chuck, his lovely wife Muriel, and three children are long-time residents of Delmar. Real fine show, Chuck!!

Ron Williams has been appointed assistant secretary of the United States Trust Co. of New York. He left a vice presidency of Bache & Co. in July to join the bank as a senior account executive in the investment division. Ron and his wife Joan have three children, Ronald, David and Carol, and live in Summit, N. J., where Ron is a member of the Sub-Standard Housing Board. He was voted "Man of the Year" in Summit in 1968 by the Independent Press.

Doctor Ed Baldridge was recently selected as recipient for the Lindback award for "Distinguished teaching at Muhlenberg College during the 1969-70 academic year." He was duly honored at commencement and received a $5OO award. Ed is currently associate professor of History at Muhlenberg. "Wah Hoo Wah," Ed!!

And from the field of research we learn that King: Howe was recently appointed research associate in the research and development division of the du Pont Company's Plastics Department at the experimental station near Wilmington, Del. Dr. Howe is working in the field of vinyl pomerization and process development. He joined du Pont in 1957 as a chemist at the experimental station. King lives at 414 Brentwood Drive, Wilmington, Del.

Big Jack Wall has been named director of Industrial Relations of Standard International Corporation, Andover, Mass. Jack was previously employed in the same capacity at Chase Brass and Copper Company of Cleveland, Ohio, for the past four years. In the near future, Jack will be moving to the Massachusetts area with his charming wife and three lovely children.

It's time for me to run, gang. See you in Cambridge or New Haven.
