Congratulations to Ed Cooper on his marriage last August to Nancy Westmoreland. The ceremony was held at her parents' home in East Greenwich, Conn. Ed and Nancy are now living in Livermore, Calif., where he is a nuclear engineer in the Lawrence Radiation Laboratory of the University of California.

We are also pleased to receive news of Dave Dickey marrying Paula Stoner of Mercersburg, Pa. The ceremony was conducted last July by Dave's father, a Presbyterian minister, in the Mercersburg Presbyterian Church. Dave and Paula spent their honeymoon in New England, including a stop at Hanover. They are now living in Greencastle, Pa., where Dave is practicing law.

The Norton Company has appointed Leonard Donovan division vice president and general manager of its Tape Division located in Troy, N. Y. This entails a move from Massachusetts where he had been manager of operations and controller of the industrial ceramics division in Worcester. Leonard, a Tuck graduate, is also a certified public accountant. His new division manufactures pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes for industrial and hardware markets.

Dick Noel, his wife Christine and their three children recently moved to Rutland, Vt. He has accepted responsibility for commercial loans at the First Vermont Bank and Trust Company of Rutland. Dick, is it true that any classmate willing to drive to Rutland can borrow an unlimited amount at prime?

After we have all made fortunes on the money lent us by Dick, we can relax and let Stewart Sheldon manage our assets in the trust department of the Northwestern National Bank, Minneapolis, Minn. He is a vice president of the trust department, a member of the Twin Cities Society of Security Analysts, and a director of Programmed and Remote Systems Corporation in St. Paul.

Congratulations and best wishes to PaulHeimer on the opening of his office to practice dentistry in Lancaster, Pa. Paul did a great job as director of the Dental Clinic at the Elwyn Institute in Media, Pa. Now he is striking out on his own and the citizens of Lancaster will be fortunate to have another first class dentist in town.

This month our column is very short. In fact, we may be setting some sort of record for brevity. The truth is that not much news has come in during the last four weeks. The length of your column and how informative it is depend on your willingness to write or telephone in news. It should not depend on the columnist's imagination or ability to stretch material to fill space.
