The pickins' are slim this month, but I'll try to stretch them into prose of satisfactory length.

For openers let's catch up with Palmer C. D.Wooglin, one of '65s most daring bon vivants. Now employed as the keeper of the birch branches at a Boston massage parlor, our hero attends Suffolk Law at night and says he's in love - his terms were "I've found the woman I want to be the mother of my children." If you need a good back rub or a bad lawyer, look him up!

Gary Herbst has taken up residence in Paris, where he is with the Morgan Guaranty Trust Co. He had been with them in N.Y.C. since 1969.

The University of New Mexico (Albuquerque) is the new base of John Ehrenberg's studies in political science. He's done previous work in that field at Stanford.

Steve Waterhouse called the other night - he's laying very intricate plans for our .part in Dartmouth's 1973 Alumni Fund campaign. Last year over 100 classmates operated as assistant class agents and helped Steve to lead us to a new '65 record and to the best performance ever by a class seven years out. Our goal in '73 is more of everything - more volunteer assistants, more participation, and more money for Dartmouth. If you would like to help, contact Steve at 650 Maye Street, Westfield, N.J. 07090.

We enjoyed a visit recently from Sue and JackHeidbrink. Jack is still at Lexington (Mass.) High School where he teaches history and economics and coaches the defensive line in football. His concession to the liberality of the '70s is in the form of handsome growth over his upper lip.

Tuck Mays reports that Pete Yatsevitch is still at the Walter Reed Army Hospital in D.C., following a very serious automobile accident in Germany in 1971. Tuck visited there in December and, though Pete's memory of his Dartmouth years is very incomplete, they had a happy reunion. Anyone wanting to renew contact with Pete can write to his wife at 2446 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, D.C. 20008.

Wah Walsh is leading "a fourth (and probably last) white water adventure" in the summer, this time on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in the Idaho wilderness. This primitive extravaganza has become a tradition, and the letter Wah sent painted a very appealing picture. Deliverance to the contrary.

Apologies again for the brevity of this writing, but the '65 column is a team effort and most of my teammates appear to have absconded with the ball. Please write — it provides easier composing for me and happier reading for you.

Happy days and peace!
