Edmond Connolly has been named sales manager, automotive products, for the chemical/plastics plant of the General Tire & Rubber Co. in Reading, Mass. He and wife Anne and their four children live in Andover.

An article in the Stamford, Conn., Advocate provides evidence of the active role one of our classmates is playing in Darien. The clipping describes the "deep concern" felt by Robert Foote about the town's delay in implementing an Inland Wetlands Act. As chairman of the town's planning, zoning, and housing committee, Bob feared his town would be deprived of many extremely valuable inland wetlands. Perhaps action has been taken by now.

The news clipping was forwarded by JulianSayer, who describes Bob as a "very busy Darienite," but "The Bear" was too modest to provide any information about himself and the only clue is the return address on his envelope: Hayden Stone, Inc., in Greenwich.

Our class president Frank Weber had a joyous spring: daughter Betsy has been accepted as a junior this fall at Dartmouth. She finished up her sophomore year at Syracuse University, majoring in psychology. We don't know how she feels about it, but Pop is ecstatic.

Doug Burch was the subject of a feature article in the March issue of Fairfield County Magazine. The issue was devoted to a survey of the advertising business in Connecticut and Doug's firm. Creative Media Services, Inc., was highlighted as an important factor in this burgeoning industry.

Dr. George Cohn has been elected to the board of directors of Hospice, Inc., a hospital to be erected in New Haven for treatment of terminal patients. It will be patterned after St. Christopher's in London and will be the first of its kind in the United States.
