Now he is winterizing them so that next winter they can rent them to the ski crowd. Peg and he are in good health, busier than ever and really enjoying life. They run a small advertising business, Norfolk Sales, Inc., from their home in Milton, Mass., and have visited California and Puerto Rico during the winter for the past three years. Don and Billee Solis enjoyed a Caribbean cruise for ten days in December on the Statendam. They expect John and Ethel Nixon to be in town (Sarasota) for the month of March.

In the December notes we asked how many still have their senior canes. Bill Williams not only has his, he uses it every day when he takes his two-mile morning walk in Fort Washington, Pa. Cyrene reports he is so busy in his retirement that he doesn't have the time to do all the things he wants to do.

Jim Hardy writes from Daytona Beach, "I'm still unmarried, still playing lots of tennis and golf. Have been to the West Indies three or four times - my favorite spot is Haiti in spite of the poverty there. Should I ever leave here Haiti would be my destination."

Jessie Barry, Frank's widow, writes, "My job (Health Physics Division of Yale University) keeps me busier and busier, and this Division has grown tremendously since I started ten years ago. The AEC keeps us hustling, and the 250 investigators using radioactive material at the University and Medical School grows rapidly."

Vedder Hughey's chin beard came out white so his friends in Miami call him colonel. He has remarried and his new wife Kathleen is a nationally acclaimed astrologer. Vedder's son is a law professor in Portland and his daughter is married and lives in New York City.

Our second son Doug is happy that he was accepted for one of three openings in the third year class at the Medical School of the University of Texas at Galveston.
