Another year, another winter and - except for those of us still rugged enough to enjoy the rigors of the Northland, - the hope that what falls on us will run off rather than be shovelled. All of which proves that we are getting old - 52+ years ago in Hanover we all looked forward to snow and the more the better.
A note from Dick Countryman reports that he is now in his 45th year in the practice of medicine in Rockford, Ill. He presently has no plans for retirement. In news from the Midwest, Solly Thurston is now living with his daughter in Springfield, Ohio - a long way from his native haunts on the eastern seaboard. The Morins are presently in Green Valley, Ariz., where they have a new winter home. They have recently built a smaller home in Norwich, where they spend the summer. In our next issue we should have an up-to-date report on the 1924 Club of Green Valley. Keith Drake sends a cheery note from the Far West.
You have all received notices of the Post 50-Year Reunion in Hanover, June 14-16. The program sounds excellent and a fine way to spend a few days in Hanover along with friends of other classes about our time. More reminders will be forthcoming; in the meantime it is not too soon to mark your calendars and make plans to be there.
That's all for now. My supply of news comes from only one source. How about giving me some - even if the postal rates have gone up!
