Back in February, Norm Fink spotted a fascinating half-page article by Bud Nossiter in The Washington Post about the first 25 years of the reign of Elizabeth II. Entitled "The 2d Elizabethan Age: A Sunny Quarter Century," it was the usual excellent job we've come to expect from the London correspondent for the Post.

Bud also was the author of "Oil to the Rescue," a piece in the March issue of TheProgressive magazine, and "The Phantom of Anglo-Communism" in The Nation magazine of March 12.

We've already acknowledged Bob Nelson's new status as grandfather. What we don't know is whether the Nelsons were able to repeat their trip of the year before to St. John and Puerto Rico. Last year the Nelsons also worked in a two-week visit to England, Denmark, Germany, Italy, France and Belgium - both trips combining business and pleasure.

Jean and George Gerrish of Kensington, Md., have three children in college: Susie, a senior at Mt. Vernon, Jamie, a sophomore at Marietta College in Ohio, and Anne, a freshman at Florida Southern College.

It is a pleasure to report that Ann and I had a delightful week on Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas in March. One could grow accustomed to that kind of living.

Since news is light this month, thought I'd pass along some updates on addresses as furnished by the College. . . . Walter Francis resides at 700 Meadowbrook Drive in Spartanburg, S.C. He's associated with the Dartmouth Club of Charlotte where Ashley Gale also is a member... Jack Halpin lives in Waianae, Hawaii. He may run into Albert Johnston of Aiea, Hawaii....

The address for W. Hardy Hendren is King Caesar Road, Duxbury, Mass.... Al Bildner lives on Farbrook Drive, Short Hills, N.J.... Russell Austin is in Atlantic City (North Alabany Boulevard).... John Amorosino is on Highfields Drive in Burlington, Conn.... and '47s in Florida include Harry Ditchett at Mooring Line Drive in Vero Beach and Paul Cohen in Fort Lauderdale.
