All members of the class, get off your ass and don't give me no sass about the cost of gas; for j it's reunion time to gather en masse. (I'm a poet, you don't know it, but my wife's feet are Longfellow's.) Now for the latest "rouses"(?).

Richard Hanson has been elected a member of the Institute of Management Consultants and has been certified as a CMC (certified management consultant). Richard is a resident of Mt. Angel, Ore., and is senior manager of Price Waterhouse and Company in Portland. Certification by the institute signifies that an individual consulting practitioner meets the institute's strict standards of technical competence, professional experience, ethical conduct, and personal hygiene. In addition to membership in the Institute of Management Consultants, Richard holds mem- berships in AICPA, Oregon Society of CPAs, Planning Executives Institute, Hospital Financial Management Association, and numerous other professional groups.

Coincidentally, I received news of AlanWoodberry, who has become a partner of Price Water house and Company. He joined Price Waterhouse in 1967 in San Francisco, traveled to other offices, and now returns to San Francisco. Alan is also a member of the AICPA and numerous other CPA groups. He is a member of the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, the World Affairs Council of Northern California, the Dartmouth Club of Northern California and Nevada (he is treasurer), and the Ohm pic Club. He and his wife Molly live in Orinda, Calif., with their daughter Sara.

Roger Parkinson was named president and publisher of the Buffalo Courier Express effective February 11, 1980. The Buffalo Courier is owned by the Minneapolis Star and Tribune Roger was formerly a vice president at the Washington Post. Prior to the Post, he spent six years with Newsweek magazine. Roger's wife Maureen was formerly a management analyst at the Securities Exchange Commission and is currently a student at the Georgetown University Law School. The Parkinsons have a daughter Deborah, one year old.

Coincidentally again, another Parkinson, Bob Parkinson just returned from a nine-month deployment in the western Pacific. He is commanding officer of Helicoptor Anti-Submarine Squadron Eight, which embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk. Bob missed Christmas at home, since he remained at sea for 74 straight days. He participated in efforts to locate and rescue the refugee "boat people."

Yours truly, at the risk of sounding like a broken record, urges you to say, "The hell with everything, I'm going to reunion"on June 13-15 to reminisce, ruminate, and reflect about the good old "animal house" days. Remember, guys, reunion is one of the few times where you can once more act like a jerk and your wife has to understand. All other times she can legitimately call you a "jerk."
