Maria Arnold Barrett, daughter of Arnold L.Barrett, informed us that her father passed away February 2. She wrote, "As you probably remember, Mother passed away this past summer following major cancer surgery. At any rate, Dad seemed to do quite well for a time, but then he just started really to fail. Mother did so much for him for so many years that it was just too difficult to adjust. Luckily, we could keep him in his own house. The end was peaceful, a massive stroke."

Once again, we extend our sympathies to Maria and her family.

Following our return from a three-week jaunt to, Florida to visit family and friends, I received a letter from Arthur Lord commenting on class and Dartmouth affairs. The class owes Art a lot for his loyalty and devotion.
