Plans for our upcoming (June 14-17, 1984) 25th reunion are moving ahead under the cochairmanship of Ross Farrar and Dick Press. Other committee members include Doug Wise, in charge of publicity, and Bob Watson, who will be working together with Peter Christian s to handle the fodd and beverage aspects of the gathering. There are numerous others involved and you will be hearing more about our reunion plans in the forthcoming weeks.

Jim Sanford writes from Mount Vernon, N.Y., that "after wintering in Thailand and Bali, I am back home enjoying favorable publicity as I continue to establish myself as the clambake master of New York City and environs. Those who live in the tri-state area may have enjoyed watching my act on the TV show 'P.M. Magazine' last August." On to even greater fame, Jim!

Jim Perry resides in Seminole, Fla., and is enjoying life as a field sales manager for Allstate Insurance Company, commuting from St. Petersburg to southern Florida on a weekly basis.

Moving north, Vince Sawyer is currently vice president of Central Fidelity Banks Inc. in Lynchburg, Va., responsible for consumer loan administration, compliance, and automated loans systems. Earlier this year he visited with Lee'and Helen Gilliatt in Shelby, N.C.; he mentions that Lee's son Nate entered Dartmouth as a freshman this year. Vince also attended the change of command ceremony in Bethesda, Md. as Ray Johnson, a captain in the Navy, assumed command of Bethesda Naval Hospital.

Lou Lazar informs us of his new job: director of real estate investments at American International Group Insurance Company, which, he notes, has extensive interests and holdings abroad. Lou is currently a resident of Woodbury, Conn.

Congratulations to Randy Malin, who earlier this year was elected to the new post of executive vice president, marketing, at USAir Group.

Bob Worthington lives in Canyon, Tex., and as of September 1983 became director of the Management Development Center for the School of Business at West Texas State University (WTSU). In his spare time he is writing two books and has a travel grant to do research for one of them; he serves as the author of three columns in various aviation publications while being the business writer for Accent West, a regional magazine; and he started a flying club at WTSU last spring which now has 22 members. Bob quips, "My wife is very busy running our consulting firm while I am having fun stayin' high (flying, that is)!"

John Vroundgos Nicholas updates us from Ross, Calif., having returned to the United States in 1979 after living in Europe for nearly 20 years: "I originally worked with Time-Life and, while working in Europe, attended graduate school in London and Zurich, earning a diploma in analytical psychology from the Jung Institute in Zurich in 1975. I then retired from Time Inc. as European director of Sports Illustrated to set up a private medical practice in London. Subsequently I was licensed in California and am currently psychotherapist and lecturer at the University of California at Berkeley and the San Francisco extension of the College of Marin. I am also doing corporate consulting and occasionally receive referrals from Dr. David Viscott in Los Angeles. Moreover, I recently visited and shop-talked with Dr. David Yarosh in New York and reviewed old times with Mike Nolen in Boston. All three are thriving in their chosen professions (the two Davids are 'shrinks' and Mike is a management consultant). Married Dianna Zimmerman (Colby Junior College), and our daughter Jillian, 16, was born in London, while our son Jonathan, 13, was born in Zurich."

Yet another '59 medical professional, GeneDuboff, writes from Colorado: "I have been in private practice of psychiatry in Denver since 1973. I've been married 23 years to the woman I met while at the University of Michigan, where I transferred after my second year at Dartmouth. We have a daugher at Pomona and another daughter (15) entering high school. I hope to be more active in Dartmouth affairs in the future."

Bob Danielson of Atascadero, Calif., was married in May 1983 to Alexis Carnes. As he put it, "a doctor meets nurse! Karin, my oldest daughter, is to spend her junior fall semester in Paris. Leslie Ann is a sophomore at Pomona College ('lvy League' of the West Coast). Our two youngest are in high school. I am looking forward to reunion next June!"

John Hanson is based in Ventura, Calif., where he is now executive director of campus life at the University of Southern California. I expect weather-wise that this, is some distance from Hanover, John!
