As she has done for years, Kitty Larmon visited Emily Gale this past summer. She reports Emily is fine. Kitty also saw Doris Cole while Doris was in Hanover. She says she never saw Doris look better.

The Elmer Pillsburys spent the summer, as usual, in Maine. They have given up going to Florida in the winter. In October, Jim Davis celebrated his birthday with his immediate family in Carlisle, Mass.
