Spring has sprung, fall has fell; it is the middle of May, and it is hot as can be expected. Actually, I am not sure what the weather is like this month because I am writing to you earlier in the year. However, I can say that if the weather continues in the pattern of this past winter then it ought to be hot this summer.
Now let's discuss our classmates and their hot and not-so-hot experiences.
Teresa Wiltz is working in New York, but she finds that living accomodations are not very easy to keep. She has just moved to her fourth apartment since graduation and, to her amazement, certain mail seems to always find her.
Speaking of mail, there hasn't been a lot of it at my door lately. I know you guys write me, but I have moved from Mars, and my mail has not been forwarded correctly.
Alas, there are those who have been able to reach me and invite me out to dinner. AidaGonzales, Ralph Dorsey, and Donna Freeman called me last Sunday, and we dined at El Juarez in New York City. We didn't know what to order, so we ordered it all. Over dinner we discussed future plans. Donna told us that she will be attending medical school in a couple of years. Ralph will be attending law school next year. He is not sure where he will attend, but he will be in school. Aida was not sure what she wanted to do in the immediate future, but she did admit she had something up her sleeve (so to speak).
Just last night I was fortunate to be a guest of Gary Portugal at his "West Coast" apartment in New York. Gary is trading commodities on Wall Street. Others present at Gary's soiree included Carrie Anderson, who is teaching first grade and enjoying every minute of it.
Enjoyment is something we all seek out of life, and while most of us are still seeking, it seems that some of us have found it. ScottBurroughs seems to have found happiness, as he will be married this summer to his "hometown honey," Tracey. This wedding will be a dynamic event, for it will be in August and David Moore and MadelineThomas will be part of the wedding party. Best wishes' on your wedding, Scott, and I hope no one else is buying a toaster oven.
Well, folks, it's about that time. But before I go, I want to ask for the whereabouts of Miriam Rickets, and let others know that LizNeisloss is alive and well and living around the corner from me.
