The September 4 issue of the WoodRiver Journal had a large front-page ture of Dorice and Phez Taylor. Tht'v were the grand marshals of the annual parade known as the "Rooster Express" in Ketchum, Idaho. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary on September 14 and continued to make courageous journeys. You will see from a December 10, 1986 letter Phez sent to Ort Hicks: "1 just returned from Katmandu where 1 hope I have got a good picture of Mount Everest. This completes my five most im- portant pictures of the world, they being the Taj Mahal, the Great Wall, the King's Palace at Lassa, St. Basil's Cathedral, and now Mount Everest."
Bill Fowler recently completed a book which is receiving deserved attention from abroad. 1 am pleased to quote a letter from Lord Vere, Hertford College, Oxford, England: "Let me congratulate you on your magnificent book, Shakespeare Revealed in Oxford's Letters. It is a supreme achievement, and one that is going to prove vital to our cause. I treasure my signed copy, and am most grateful that you saw fit to honour me with such a gift."
And from the Alexander, Va., TownTalk: "Lord Vere, a 21-year-old student at Oxford University, is in line to become the 15th Duke of St. Albans in England. He believes that Shakespeare actually was the pseudonym of Edward deVere, the 17th Earl of Oxford and once Lord Great Chamberlain of England."
