"Raise Your Glasses to" Lucy Briggs, whose green card reads "I'm planning a trip on a barge which cruises canals of Southern France, June 25-July 2. Any of the 1921 classmates want to go along? One of Ellis's nieces conducts the cruises."

And to Evelyn Fleet, who wrote that she was planning to join a group to visit Spain and Portugal in May.

And to Enid Bean, who wrote a friendly letter: "Dear Russ, I appreciate being kept on the mailing list for the '21 Smoker. Ken's love for Dartmouth and the Class of 1921 in particular kindled an interest within me that I hope to keep forever. The news in the Stnoker, the Alumni Magazine, and the personal contacts with Dartmouth classmates and friends are a pleasure.... Isn't it good to see some sunshine and warmer weather after a harsh winter? I spent three weeks in Florida, which I enjoyed, but I am not ready to pull up my deep New England roots and move south just yet."

And to "Phez" Taylor for this report: "Dorice and I are just recovering from a trip on the S.S. Rotterdam. We flew to Lima, where we boarded the ship as it had completed its cruise around South America, and we took it at Lima and went on to Easter Island and stopped at Pitcairn Island, where the natives came aboard and sold some of their homecrafts. It was too rough to go on the island, which is two and a half miles long. From there we went to Tahiti, Fiji, Port Moresby, and our favorite island, Bali. We ended up at Singapore and flew to San Francisco and then home."
