How 'bout a round of snaps for John Pilling and his most recent edition of The Transmission. Good show, John! Now that we have all our names and addresses out there in the public eye, perhaps some old friendships will be rekindled, some happy memories will be jogged, and some volunteers will come forward for the 25th Reunion. The big event is not that far off, and volunteers or nominations need to come forth for the allimportant positions of reunion chair(s), reunion giving chair(s), and reunion yearbook editor(s). Please send names to Tonks, or to me. And if you send 'em to me, please send me some news for the column, too.
Good news arrived in late January that Charles F. Woodhouse II had been appointed president and chief operating officer of International Proteins Corp. Listed on the American Stock Exchange and with main offices in Woodbridge, N.J., International Proteins is a major animal feed and seafood company. Charley joined the corporation in 1989, after ten years as president and partner in a N.J.-based commodities trading firm. Well done, Charley!
Sad news arrived recently regarding OcieLee Sydnor. A government major at Dartmouth and a mathematics teacher in the Dorchester, Mass., middle schools, Ocie passed away in early January. As many class- mates will remember, Ocie enrolled at Dartmouth from Lynchburg (Va.) High School, and while on the Hanover Plain, ne was active in Alpha Chi Alpha and as a tutor in the ABC program. He went on from Dartmouth to earn a master's degree in education from Northeastern. Ocie leaves a son, Chinyelu Nkrumah Martin of Roxbury, Mass., to whom we extend our deep sympathies.
