As class reunion chairman Barry Smith announced back in May, '59 will celebrate its 30th Reunion (31st, actually) along with the classes of '6O and '61 from Monday, June 11 through Thursday, June 14, 1990. The Class will occupy the "Gold Coast" dormitories—Lord, Gile, and Streeter—while '60 will be in Russell Sage, Hitchcock, and Butterfield, and '61 will inhabit Middle Mass. At the time, Barry also mentioned that anyone interested in staying at the Hanover Inn during the course of the reunion "needs to send a written request to the Inn as early as possible, in addition to making alternative rooming plans in case the request cannot be filled." Barry also mentioned that, for the past two major reunions, Tom Ruggles 'SO has put together an alumni glee club which has performed at the "kickoff" dinner for all returning alumni(ae). According to Tom, the group, dubbed "Gentlemen Songsters " sings nothing but Dartmouth Glee Club songs, "wah-hoo-wahs, Eleazars, and all," and very often does a reprise of some of the numbers at a tent later in the reunion. Former Glee Club and Glee Team members (student directors, officers, or Injunaire members) who have not been approached about their interest in being a part of this fun program should contact Tom, who works at United Display, 128 Walden Street, Concord, MA, 617/369-5879.

After 26 years in the army, Pete Scott retired as a colonel and became business planning manager for FMC Corp. Pete says that he and wife Ann are happy grandparents and celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary last year.

Bob Carter has been vice president of the National Merit Scholarship Corp. since Februaiy 1987. Son Robert, who graduated with a degree in architecture from Cooper Union last year, now works in the suburban Chicago area for Pulte Home builders, while daughter Jackie is an aerobics instructor in southern California.

Marv Sezak is proud to report that son Andrew is a '93. Awhile back, Marv enjoyed a breakfast at Lou's in Hanover with TomAley. Marv noted that Bob Watson (who owns Lou's) "apparently does not get up early" aiid was sorry to miss him, but did manage to seek out Dick Jaeger for a brief visit. (As most of you know by now, Dick, long-time admissions director at the College, is now its athletic director. Congratulations, again, Dick!)

Speaking of College officials, former dean of students John Hanson wrote several months back that he and wife Ann had returned to New England after five years in California while Ann pursued her Ph.D. at UCLA. Ann is associate dean of the college at Middlebuiv. At the time, John indicated that he was holding down two temporary jobs-acting associate dean of the college and dean of upperclass students at Dartmouth, and visiting faculty member at the University of Vermont (where he was teaching three courses in their undergraduate program in higher education). John reports (in his typically modest fashion) that he and Ann are "busy but happy" and that their children are adjusting nicely to "four-seasons" recreation. A belated'''welcome back" to the Hanover Plain, John!
