"Following the second year after graduation, news from the class began to dwindle. Gregg dug up what he could but soon turned to outside, completely unrelated topics to mention in his column. It all came to an end when Gregg was committed to Trembling Hills Sanitarium after he reprinted, in full, a recipe for tuna tetrazzini in the Alumni Magazine ..."

Aaagh!! Oh ... I was having the worst nightmare! Something about trembling tuna...

Well, now that I have that thinly veiled yet heavily dropped hint out of the way, I'll proceed with the news. Stacey Wolff was recently in touch with me. Stacey is hard at work in New York for the advertising firm of Foote, Cone, & Belding in their marketing planning department. The accounts she works on vary from automobile manufacturers to banks and food producers. She reports that everything in N.Y.C. is expensive but usually worth it.

Stacey's contacts include Brian Rowles, who works for Lotus Corp., and ElaineMiller, who is busy at Temple, Barker & Sloane in Boston. Sarah Manchester has started her second year of law school at Cornell, and Ken Schuhmacher is into his third year of similar pursuits at the University of Michigan.

Unaccustomed as I am to public embarrassment, I would like to mention a few corrections to some stories I have told during the last year or so. It seems that my dutiful band of correspondents slips up on occasion, and, since I call 'em as I hear 'em, the inaccuracies creep into the magazine. First of all, Christine Wichers works for the district attorney, not the public defender's office in New York. This fine distinction might not mean much to you, but it would assuredly be important if you were facing 20 years the hard way in the pokey. In addition, Margaret Johnson is planning to come home when her two years of Peace Corps duty is over in the Marshall Islands. My sincere apologies to her mother, who was led to believe that Margaret had signed up for a third year (oops). Finally (I can't take much more of this), Kirsten Anthony is in fact working for Peak Media Inc. in Sun Valley, Idaho.

Okay. Now, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Decade.
