Nonagenarians naturally crave for good news ana here are a few glad tidings from yuletide greetings received by scattered classmates.

From Bea and Oscar Rice, Aptos, Calif.: "We gratefully settle down for die holidays as the aftershocks of the earthquake (October 17, 1989) seem over. Our neighborhood was new enough to escape, but it is saddening to see the wreckage of the older buildings downtown."

Marj and Spenny Smith, Atlanta, Ga.: "It is hard to believe we have been here three years. It was a good move for us. Spenny is happy and life easier for both."

Fran and Jack Dodd, Summit, N.J.: "We sure do miss our trips to Hanover. Our traveling is now limited, but we are most grateful that we still have each other."

Helen and Eric Malmquist, Norwalk, Conn.: A newsy, round-robin letter about their family: daughters Elin, Lisa, and Ruth, and Ruth's husband, James Craffey, well remembered by Twoters for their appreciated participation in our 65th Reunion (June 12-14, 1987) when they accompanied Eric to Hanover. The activities of a grandson and two granddaughters were also reported.

And then among others were: Doris and Ray Atwood, New London, N.H.; Nan and Carroll Dwight, Chestnut Hill, Mass.; Helen and Killy Kilmarx, Scarsdale, N.Y.

For some reason, they all sprinkled their yuletide greetings with specific wishes for good health. Remember how we used to take it merely for granted?
