Most of our news this month comes from classmates who have taken on the leadership of major projects on our behalf. Bill Yaggy, mini-reunion chairman, has two events on the drawing board. After the great success of last year's New York theater party, we will repeat it this year with the class of 1968. The date is Saturday, June 9, and Bill has a full evening planned. If you expect to be in New York and did not re- ceive the regional mailing, call Bill for further information at 212/601-3018.

Another date to save for those who plan ahead is October 13. Building on our tradition of meeting in Hanover for Dartmouth Night, Bill has again planned a reception in the Smoyer Lounge after the Yale game (perhaps including all classes 1966-69 next year). More information will be coming.

Sam Ostrow has the important and difficult job of head agent for the Alumni Fund. Last year Sam and his volunteers led us to new records. At press time we were running a close second in the class competition and in a position to both meet our goal and continue breaking our past records. If you have yet to pledge, there is still time before June 30. If you are in a position to do a little more, we all will appreciate it. Those of us following financial issues in higher education know just how important annual giving is to the quality of undergraduate programs this year.

Speaking of major jobs assumed, JeffZimmerman (and may we assume Pam?) has agreed to be our 25th Reunion yearbook editor. 1992 is not that far away. Have you searched your attic for those ancient pictures that Jeff needs? He is looking not only for your 3x5 photograph, but for pictures that capture our Dartmouth experience. So if you have candid photographs, whether of your team or that seven day road trip to all Seven Sisters, send them to Jeff.

On the career-change front this month, our one piece of news comes from Boston where Joe Alviani has joined the entrepreneurial f irm of Mintz Levin, which specializes in biotechnology law.
