Some 100 classmates, spouses, relatives and widows attended our 60th Reunion Frank Rogers from Carmel, Calif., traveled the greatest distance, with Al chumacher from Mexico City not far behind. Congratulations to Ed Brummer and his reunion committee for the excellent program and arrangements.

Vance Dickerman and MauryWhittinghill wrote early in June that neither would attend reunion, Vance because of family matters, and Maury's involvements in a big project (about which we'd like to hear more). Maury remembered his mud-shoveling in the 1927 flood. Spurred by a 1934 Class Notes article, he found from the 1986 Alumni Directory \that 36 of our classmates were residing in the same towns/cities listed as their residences in the Aegis! Vance still harbors a desire to again go fly-fishing in Montana.

Jim Lyall received news from Bill Grant's nephew that Bill was in a nursing home in Aurora, Colo., in good physical shape. Jim's granddaughter, a junior at Taft School, an Allamerican prep school soccer player and AllNew \England in lacrosse, was to attend soccer camp this summer in Hanover. The Lyalls hope this honor student will enter Dartmouth in the fall of 1992.

Mary Minehan told me that her Bill's nursing home is not far from their residence, and that they'd like to hear from '31ers. Perhaps the same would go for Harriett Wolff, now in a nursing home in Lebanon, N.H., and also for the Grants.

Athalia Barker thanked the class for our note of sympathy in her loss of Bob, whose last days were difficult ones. Back in February the New Hampshire Historical Society's exhibition on baseball included a review of RedRolfe's career. Mighty good that Red's widow, Isabel, could join us at reunion.

A couple of salutes are due: first to BillWendell, for the great job he has done as newsletter editor these last years; then to DaveBorkum and helpers for the super performance of exceeding our goal of $120,000 by raising $124,621 for the Alumni Fund from 156 classmates and 57 widows.
