Our dog days were spent with family at two different lakes, Travis in Texas, with my clan (five children under the age of three!), and Tahoe in California, with Lou Ann's. We are truly enjoying this phase of the program.
In the Kudos Kategory, the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine won Newsweek's Sibley Award for 1991 as the best periodical in higher education, as judged by the writers and editors of Newsweek. A big tip of the hat to Jay Heinrichs and his able staff for this muchdeserved recognition. And a Wah-Hoo-Wah to all of you who gave to this year's Alumni Fund. Over half of the class contributed, exceeding our objective and setting a new Dartmouth record. Thanks to Head Agent Jim Bildner and particularly to all of the class agents, for the time and energy which made this possible.
Jim and his wife, Nancy, stopped for a few days in San Francisco last week for a visit, and it was just like old times at 310 Hitchcock, except we had children (theirs and ours) crawling all over us. He reports that all is going well at J. Bildner and Sons after a few tumultuous years in the late eighties. They have bought a new house in Manchester, Mass., which they will be moving into this fall.

Never at a loss for words, Cliff Ennico sent a news-packed letter updating me on his legal and publishing doings. Cliff has left his job as a corporate lawyer and has joined Kleban & Samor based in Fairfield, Conn. As always, he is working on several books related to the legal profession.
MIA Claude Saucier finally surfaced one year after being named Most Incommunicado. Apologizing for the delay, Claude claims a good excuse. "Am in the midst of a career change, and placing most of my energy/focus there. Left the theater about diree years ago. Received an associate degree in advertising last spring, just in time to start looking for copywriting work in the midst of a heavy recession/depression in the industry—and I thought I had great timing!" Claude was nice enough to enclose two photocopies of Dartmouth Players programs for shows we were in together. "Such a lot of time, and yet the memories are still very intense." Anyone in need of a good copywriter can reach Claude at 212/749-2363.
Will the following MIAs please follow Claude's lead and respond to The Call? David Adaxnson Hollis JohnsonJohn dayman Brent LawsonKenneth Garon Allan RandallJames Gutner George Turner
On a final note, any of you who find yourselves seeking employment are welcome to write, and I will be happy to pass the word around.
