Thanks to Jeff Sassorosi, we have (old) news from his freshman and sophomore roommate, Richard Lane. Rich writes that he has "moved up in work—I now am director of toxicology and regulatory affairs for T.J. Lipton and their parent, Unilever U.S." His only concern seems to be the effect of all this change on his wife, Mary.
We have received a preview of a wonderful photo exhibit and booklet entitled "Behind the Golden Door: Refugees in Uptown" from classmate Marty Hansen. Marty describes this project as "three years of intensive personal effort from conception to completion." The work is a 60-page booklet with 50 black and white photographs and an extensive narrative text which offers compelling glimpses into the life and culture of seven refugee communities which have made the North Side of Chicago (Uptown) their home.
